Yeah!!! .. they made a side story after My Heroic Husband. I just found this out on iQiyi today 20th August 2021, and it is about the dumb cousin-in-law of the ML of My Heroic Husband. I wonder why they made this movie.... soon I will find out.

Found this on Netflix this year (August 2021) and I didn't even know this movie existed. It has 3 of my favourite actors and so I will watch it

@PeachBlossomGoddess - I find some actresses or their dubbers have really annoying voices. They sound like 5-10 years old children, and it really spoils my experience of the drama. LOL... I will use your mute test next time. Anyways, I like Bai Lu in most dramas, and she acts really well. I don't think she will act like some immature child... LOL... :))

You are right. Some FL's voices are so annoying that they are better of being mute throughout the dramas.... hahaha

That is why I am glad to be born in the Mid-20th Century whereby Women's rights are respected and acknowledged...

After watching up to 22 episodes, I can say the eldest brother is rather naive and not street smart - that's why he got easily cheated by that gold digger lady; her demure, gentle & docile woman-acting was too perfect (in my opinion). In fact, he is clever academically (he got 1st in the Exams, after all) but life experience-wise, he is totally dumb. He doesn't know much about women in general, and he is not patient nor understanding or even compassionate (based on his treatment of his own wife). Sometimes, I wonder how women in the past ever survived... LOL....

This is one of the longer Cdrama title and it is a spoiler too... LOL

But it was not real life in the end though; more like drama real life... LOL. But it was a sweet happy ending and I am content.

The ML ended up in jail? wow, what a good spoiler. I am one of those who couldn't get into the drama too. I watched the trailer and a bit of episode 1, and I don't get any attraction to watch this drama. Thanks for the spoiler... LOL... :))

Yeah! I was also surprised to find Viki has managed to sub the episodes so quickly. In the past, I always get annoyed with Viki because they are behind in subbing the dramas. I still watch Viki's version because I find their dubbing is much better and makes the dramas more understandable, hence, I put up with the delays. Perhaps the subbers for this Song of Youth are super fans of this drama and hence the quick work. :))

I have watched The King's Woman, Eternal Love, Love Designer and Pretty Li Hui Zhen, and I just don't like her acting in these dramas. For me, she doesn't seem to be bringing her best to these characters, and they ended up being flat and one dimensional. Off course, many find her to be beautiful and gorgeous, but when I am watching dramas, I like to see the acting over the visual. These are only my opinions, so no haters please.... LOL... :))
