I really love this drama now. I have watched until episode 12, and I am astounded by the good production and directing, script writing & witty dialogues, great acting and beautiful exquisite costumes. All the actors and actresses did their part really well, no over-acting and lots of funny & sweet moments. Finally, I found a new historical/period drama to replace The Sword and Brocade drama (which was also great and I liked so much). At first, I did not like the actor playing the ML because he looked quite young paired with the FL, who looked slightly older than him. But after watching up to 3 episodes, I began to like him and I find him suitable in this role. He is playing the role of the spoilt and youngest son of a prominent wealthy family. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and his life is really easy. Perhaps that's why he looks young and immature. Also because this is his first time in love, he is enthusiastic, overly expressive and unrestrained in his love and adoration towards the FL … While the FL had a tough and difficult life growing up, losing her family suddenly and at a young age, had traumatic experience of seeing her mother's suicide, and then working hard in odd jobs just to survive; also perhaps she can't afford good skin care too....hahaha. Because of all these, she looks mature for her age. This is how I rationalize the pairing of the main couple in order to keep watching the show.... LOL.... In fact in real life, the ML is 1 year older than the FL. And I believe they have good and comfortable on-screen chemistry (although not fireworks) since they have worked together before in Arsenal Military Academy drama.
I loved the Day of Becoming You. I have watched Moonlight, and I find it to be Okay. I am waiting for Forever and Ever because they have my favourite actors. Since I don't like Dilraba, I will skip You Are My Glory. As for the rest, I will take a look to see if they suit my taste... LOL...
Seems that if an Asian actor acts in Hollywood, they have succeeded.... you are right, Hollywood is so-so nowadays. That's why I watch Korean, Chinese and Japanese movies & drama nowadays. I heard even Turkish dramas are getting better
I truly love the Australian TV detective drama Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (on Netflix), and I am going to watch this Chinese version to see if it will do Miss Fisher justice. Looking forward to this drama.

I agree with you. When we watch dramas from every country around the world, we should appreciate the arts, people and production behind the dramas. Every government in the world is not perfect and we should not judge it based on what we hear and read from the social media. We should watch dramas for our own entertainment, and what is being shown on TV is mainly fiction (unless told differently). I will watch this Chinese drama for my favourite actors.
Lennon is such an adorable, cute and sweet boy. He acted really well in Unforgettable Love, and his smile is super addictive and contagious. I hope he will get more roles in the future.
I started watching this drama quite late (23 July 2021) and despite being aired in 2012, I find the story to be really nice and enjoyable. The main couple has great on-screen chemistry, and Peter Ho is one hot sexy guy. LOL.... the little girl is also really cute, and her acting is good too, despite her young age. One stark thing I noticed is that all the actors and actresses' skin tone and make-up looked natural and healthy-looking. Nowadays, I find the actors/actresses skin tones look overly white and super photo-shopped to be blemish-free.
I really loved this drama but I put the last 2 episodes on hold because I saw previews of them, and I don't have the heart to complete this drama.... LOL....

I agree with you about the bullying and physically hitting part of the drama. No matter if it was the FL does it to the ML, or the ML does it to the FL, it is physical abuse and it is not funny. If it was done in a light fun manner, it may look like siblings squabbles; perhaps it's OK. But from what I saw, it looks like it is heavy hitting. What is worst, the ML is not allowed to respond back, or it will be considered sexual harassment. I wish these East Asian dramas don't promote physical abuses of poor kind guys or ladies.
I am a late comer to this wonderful drama (July 2021), and I am blown away by the excellent acting of all the casts of this show. This is a really wonderful yet heart-wrenching drama. But in the end, it has a happy ending for both families. Many will not like the final episode, but for me, it worked really well because it is a God-given miracle and sometimes, it is nice to believe in miracles. All the actors and actresses - young and old - are totally professional and experienced in portraying the joy, happiness, sad and painful events and moments in each and all characters of this precious drama...... Somehow, I will miss this drama when it ends.....
There is only 7 episodes (15 minutes each) of this Taiwanese drama.... really? Why so short? Might as well make it into a short movie instead of a mini-drama.... LOL

I also like Miles Wei since his drama "Perfect and Casual". It is the main reason I am watching this "Unforgettable Love" drama. He does cold ML with warm hearts really well. His subtle face expressions are really good. And he is handsome with charm and sweetness.... LOL... I hope he gets more lead roles in the future.
