I wish there is a Season 2. This drama is so good and I was never bored at all. I actually had to rewind several scenes because I had to understand the story, especially the investigation parts. I really loved it when they do visual illustrations to explain forensic facts. I also love the part where Prince An gave to Chu Chu a bunch of flowers mainly fed to pigs and she was upset... LOL... This drama is so much fun to watch and easy to understand.

I guess this makes sense after I finished the series. Because if he is the real Duke Chang, I am sure Prince An will not want to kill a royal member of the Emperor, since Prince An is such a meticulous and thorough investigator. I really love this drama and I will miss Chu Chu and Prince An... :(
Just finished this drama and I loved it. I did not expect much when I started but it has great storyline, intense actions, interesting plots and clever dialogues, re-caps of previous episodes in the beginning of new episodes, strong friendships and bromances, subtle yet sweet romances, no boring fillers or stupid misunderstandings, no jealous bitches but supportive female leads, etc.. Kudos to great direction, writing, casts and production. I was never bored at all watching and I even binged watched this in 2 days!! This is one of my favorite C-dramas now. For the 1st time, I wished they have more episodes because the ending was rushed. Maybe Season 2 perhaps. I want more of their investigative adventures.
I came here after watching The Imperial Coroner. Few viewers recommended me to watch Young Blood for Su Xiao Tong; I really liked her in The Imperial Coroner, and I hope she is also good in this one.
Oh! Now she has a new profile picture. Anyways, I loved her in The Imperial Coroner, and I don't think her character is one-dimensional. Her character was written that way, and so far, I find her refreshing, warm and cute. I will look for her other works from now on.
I had the similar opinion about Dilraba till The Long Ballad. She's really improved now.
I did watch the Long Ballad but I really cannot take Dilraba because she is still not a good actress to be the lead actress for such a serious drama. That role would fit someone with better acting experience or charisma, for example, Bai Lu or Sandra Ma or Zhao Li Ying. That is why I dropped Long Ballad, along with other Cdramas with Dilraba in it. There are more better actress out there. Kindly note this is just my opinion, so no haters please..... LOL....
I agree with every casting person except Dilraba. She is not that good of an actress nor has the charisma or energetic aura to be able to portray Hermoine. I would know because I have watched Harry Potter Series many times, and I love Hermoine. I would prefer a better female actor to give her the best version.... So, please Choose someone else much better than Dilraba, for example Seven Tan, or Zhao LuSi. They are much better.

'You are my Hero' is indeed a good quality drama. Well-written and well acted. The production put lots of efforts into the action and medical scenes, making it almost real, and I really appreciate that they treat the audience with respect. I wish there are more C-dramas that make quality production and not just crunching out numerous useless dramas just to cast the idols and models actors and earn money.... LOL...

When I saw the trailer to this You are my Guardian, I was excited because I thought I was getting another drama like 'You are my Hero'. But based on your comments, I am quite worried now. While watching this J-drama, and observing the anti-social and awkward but genius mangaka ML, I suspect he has Asperger Syndrome, a type of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). He may looked anti-social and very rude but it is his non-ability to communicate with people. Inside, he is kind and gentle, and even lonely and just wanted to be loved. So far, I really like this J-drama. I really LOL when the stalker was revealed to be the 1st guy the FL dumped; and everyone kept calling him a stalker. I also like the slow burn and subtle affection between the ML and FL. I just hope that the editor (Kogo) will not spoil their romance because he didn't want the ML to return back to normal. :))

I am currently searching for a good C-drama to watch. So far, there is not much that I liked, so I started re-watching Under The Power, and even My Heroic Husband again.... LOL.. Anyway, since this Joy of Life has such high rating, perhaps I will pick it up again. Since I liked the ML, maybe I will just skip the FL scenes, and proceed onwards. Looking forward to see the main ML and FL from My Heroic Husband again, in this Joy of Life. :))
