After watching up to 4 episodes, I am not comfortable with the amount of bullying and awful verbal, mental and physical abuses that Mina suffered through her husband's family, especially from the mother-in-law from hell. No wonder Mina escaped from this terrible family. No amount of wealth, status and expensive clothes are worth all these pain and abuses. It is disgusting how the family blamed her for bad things that befallen them. I am looking forward to how Yeon Joo (fake Mina) will teach some big lessons to this terrible Hanju family. That's why when Yeon Joo said that what they are doing to Mina is practically slavery (Mina doing all the housework & errands everyday), despite being the daughter-in-law of a wealthy family, I was happy that she realised it and can proceed to kick their ugly arrogant buttocks.
It’s a drama worth watching, the leads are really good and their chemistry is 💯.It’s deserves a higher…
Totally agree with you. It was a good drama, and the classical music played in this movie was great too. Most of all, the onscreen chemistry between the main leads was sizzling, in my opinion. :))
Omg you should watch Goodbye my princess. Shes incredible in that drama and the male lead too
Even though Goodbye My Princess has a sad tragic ending, the drama itself is really great and epic. Pretend its the Game of Thrones, where the drama was great & so epic but there are so many tragic endings....LOL....
So basically the FL stalked a guy that never met her right into his hotel room while he was drunk and half passed…
So you are saying that the FL "rape" the drunk ML? If it was the other way round, the ML stalked the FL into her hotel room while she was drunk and half passed out, ended up sleeping with her.... blah, blah.... LOL.... it would be bad for the guy.....
From the poster here and on iQiyi, I thought Bai Lu has another drama with Steven Zhang, and I was excited for nothing when I read the actress is another person.... LOL
5 episodes in. I can't stand the female lead. The ugly hair , her stupidity, her ugly hair, her lack of critical…
LOL... your comment reminded me of the time when I watched "Lucky's First Love" where Bai Lu's hair was really ugly in that drama. I mean, I know she just finished filming Arsenal Military Academy and her hair was cut short for the drama, but the wig she wore for Lucky's First Love was awful, really awful, and it took away the nice experience of watching the drama. What kind of stylist let a beautiful actress like Bai Lu wears an ugly wig? :))
Gosh I really felt Noble Consort Sun’s heartbreak that the emperor didn’t trust her enough to believe in her…
Agreed. This is one of the C-dramas that I wish that has more episodes to finish the story properly. I truly enjoyed this drama, and I will miss the Sun family. I wish there will be Season 2, but I don't think so.
I am very happy for him to join Hollywood. But then, I know he is already very famous internationally since "Itaewon Class" and "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" is on Netflix. Also his movie "Divine Fury" is shown globally. I guess appearing and acting in a Hollywood movie is considered to be a pinnacle in an Asian actor's career. I hope Hollywood will not stereotype him, like the way they did with other East Asian actors.
I am amazed with the high quality production of this drama, especially all the outfits/costumes all the characters wore. I saw on Youtube the behind the scene on how the sets were built and the dresses/outfits were all made of good quality material (including real silk) and hand-made embroidery. Here is the YouTube video clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIKuu9CH7A0&list=PL_XX2fslFAzs_AGnAKouzJ_OZG1CfL-ve&index=24
This drama might not be everyone cup of tea, but I love it so much since it make me laugh and cry during uncertain…
I actually love this drama so much. Initially, I was quite apprehensive about this drama because of the pairing of the main ML & FL - he looked younger than Bai Lu. But in the end, I find they are such cute and sweet couple. I also love the eldest sister-in-law and IMO, this drama would not be entertaining without her. Overall, I love all the side characters (even the Emperor...LOL). I have only seen up to episode 34, and I hope this drama will have a happy ending.
