I actually stayed up late (i.e. 2.00 AM Korean time!!!) just to watch the RAW version of Episode 20, just to see what happened to the whole story; TO BE HONEST, I love the 1st 30% part of it when BH was still part of the Queen, and then, when the whole Dramatic stuffs happened, where the Queen and King were shot, and BH was drawn back to the modern times and WHATEVER K-DRAMA REALITY DECIDED TO DO - to fixed the ending...whatever ***the **F******** happened..... *** I actually watched the whole episode RAW but I kinda of understood..... Kim So Young came to her body and suffered a lot...BLAH BLAH.... To be honest, I cried lots and lots because the story became terrible.... BH left Joseon period at a critical moment and he felt lost without the King but he has to pretend that he did not care.... HELL.... I was crying in the end because it was such an ANTI-CLIMATIC ENDING.... !!! DAMN !!! OK!! I AM SORRY!! BUT I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FINAL AND ENDING EPISODE!!
even though i am one of the few who didnt like BI from the start, i cried when he died... the scene was shot really…
I don't hate BI, and I understood his obsessive's love for the Queen. Although I almost hated him when he choked the Queen, I was relieved that he saved her in the end. He still believed that SY's soul was in the Queen's body, and that was enough for him. To see him die like that, and to see his heart broken knowing his adopted father wanted him dead, and he will never see his beloved Queen again, I cried for him too. I also shed some tears when the Queen said she was sorry and she wanted to bury him. Such a sad ending for an intense interesting man. May BI's soul rest in peace.....
OMG! Today is 14 Feb.2021, and the final episode of Mr. Queen. I just cannot imagine spending weekends without episodes from this wonderful drama. I wonder if there will be season 2 ??? I am still not willing to let Mr. Queen go..... hehehe
I'm planning to watch "royal secret agent" after this, care to join?I don't even know what it's about tho, I'll…
I read a few reviews that the Royal Secret Agent is not so good; that is why I am feeling sad after Mr Queen is over this coming Weekend. I love the "No Touchee Couple" so much, that I will probably will have Kdrama withdrawal syndrome....hahahahhah
The one thing i cant stand from this drama is that goddamn hair omg.. Its so ugly I cant. It was probably the…
LOL.... I love your comment. I also had the same problem while watching this drama, but after a while, I just kind of ignored her hairpiece and enjoyed the story. :))
I love the jealous King - he does not want any man to touch his Queen. Also, how cool is that Mr. Queen can jump from the walled fence onto the ground; even the King was impressed. I cannot wait for next week's episodes... again, another painful week of waiting begins today...LOL....
One more day to go !! Saturday and Sunday cannot come soon enough. I have been re-watching Episodes 13 and 14 the whole week. The wait is killing me. I want to see how Mr. Queen teaches the King on how to "eat ramyeon".... LOL....
I have no idea about Korea's real King Cheoljong nor the original Chinese novel/drama, but this drama on its own…
The real King Cheoljong and Queen Cheorin did have a baby boy, but the prince died very young. King Cheoljong had many daughters from his many concubines but almost all his children died except for one. No further news about his kid after that. Very sad story because the Kim clan was too strong and corrupt for the King. In the end King Cheoljong also died young. But hopefully in this Kdrama, these stories will be handled differently.
Am I the only one who thought the person behind explosion is Cheoljeong himself ?! its look like he gamble with…
If the King Cheoljong planned the bomb himself, then he is really taking a big risk because he could have died or seriously injured or disfigured. He must be really a smart guy to have this dangerous backup plan. However, if he were smarter, he could have foreseen that the Kim clan will screw up his banquet and should have prepared extra food supplies in advanced. Overall, the way the Kim clan publicly humiliated the King was too much for me to bear. I wonder why anyone those days wanted to be King of Joseon anyway, because it's all show only.
I found on YouTube some background story about the real King CheolJong and Queen Cheorin; the stories were more positive than the ones written on Wikipedia and it's from a South Korean prospective. After watching the Youtube video, I felt so much better that at least King CheolJong tried his best to take care of his people, and Queen Cheorin supported her husband's effort. But alas, the court corruption was too much for them. I am very sad to hear King Cheoljong has left no heirs, but I bet the Kim clan was involved somehow. I am a fan and anti-fan of the Queen's cousin. I know many hates him and even annoyed by his extreme actions, but please understand him. He loves the Queen for many years and he only wanted her to be happy; he did not want to see her sad and mistreated by the King and his royal concubine. Perhaps later in the story, he will find out that his adopted father is evil and corrupted and perhaps he will side with the King in the end. He will do all these for his love of the Queen. Please don't hate him, just understand him. Peace....LOL
OMG :)) I was slapping my self every episode to push through it... Every drama the main actress chooses to accept…
I think your mention of Latin-telenovelas made me laugh, because they are similar to Thai Lakorns. Same over-the-top plotlines, tragedies, backstabbing, betrayals, greed and corruptions. I think this kdrama Secret is similar to the Thai Lakorn "Waves of Life" starring Mark Prin and Bella. I went through a lot of emotions watching the Thai version, so I was not willing to watch this Kdrama drama "Secret". Sigh... But I really like Ji Sung, so perhaps, I will slowly start watching Secret, just for his sake.... Hahahaha...
I agree that the Cousin is acting like lunatic but you should understand that he is being overprotective of the Queen (he loved her for years; remember his confession to the original Queen?), especially when he saw that the King didn't love her (the King picked up the concubine instead of the Queen in beginning of episode 6, when both women fainted), and the Queen was unhappy and wanted to kill herself before the wedding. I don't find the Cousin annoying or irritating at all because he adds the tension and spice to the drama plus he is so passionate and hot-looking. People, let us all sit back and enjoy the drama.
I just read that there are people offended by this drama in s.korea... I just hope the international community…
Seriously, the Korean audience should try to chill out, and just enjoy the drama as it is. It is fiction and it is for entertainment. If Hollywood always cares about how people complained about distorting history, then no movies or dramas will be made. Sigh. I am really liking this drama and I hope that they will continue despite the complaints from the Koreans. I hope it is not many complaints though
I was reluctant to watch this drama because I finished "My husband in law" many months ago and I cannot go through another Mark Prin-bully acting against his FL, before he falls in love with her. However, there was so much promotion of "My Forever Sunshine" (via Facebook and Instagram), and the main couple looked so cute, sweet and lovey-dovey. So, in the end, I was curious enough to start watching the 1st episode this weekend (12/12/2020). I was actually charmed by Mark and Kao. Somehow, in this drama, Mark was quite a sweet young college man and Kao was the spoilt misunderstood brat. The first 2 episodes set up the drama well, and I eventually got to like it. The chemistry between Mark and Kao was good, even though it is not fireworks like him with Yaya or Mew. To me, I feel that their onscreen chemistry is natural and sweet, that is, until the accident part and hateful 4 years. I have not finished the drama, since I have a few otherThai Lakorns I have to finish...LOL.
They should have picked other good actors who are willing to do kissing scenes. And this is Bai Lu !! She does…
That's is what I meant. I read that he is married and he is a gentleman. I have no problem with him not wanting to do any kissing scenes. I am just saying that the producers could have casted other actors just as good as him to act in this drama. On the other hand, kisses don't have to be only on the lips. If the kisses were done on the forehead or cheeks or the hands, that's good too and also really romantic. Maybe Ren Jia Lun can do these. I am just saying.....
