I love Na In Woo's On Dal now. He exudes elegance, maturity and confidence, just like the way a son of a great general would be (his late father was a great mighty general of his clan). Now that Na In-Woo has more time to prepare for the role, he is absolutely great in episode 9. I hope he will get better and better as more episodes are aired.

I saw this clip in Instagram, including the part where Vincenzo talked to that guy who liked him, and dang!, the whole dialogue and horse riding was really hot, hot, hot.... LMAO.. XD

I fast forwarded to episode 35 (all in raw) because I was trying to see when will they do the deed. OMG... ONLY in episode 35? I am now at episode 25 and I am wondering if I should keep on watching. Anyways, their first real kisses and love making really made up for all the angst and frustrations of all the previous episodes...LMAO !!... :D

Yesss!! That kiss from the ML to the FL is long overdue, and I must say, it made my toes curl.... LOL.... it is one of the best kissing scene I have ever seen in any drama. Now I know why some viewers were demanding a Wallace Chung kiss. Dang, that man can really kiss. I wonder how Seven Tang feels? hehehe... XD

I am not complaining about Na In Woo's acting here. I am just stating my understanding on why the viewers' comments about him and his lack of chemistry with the FL in the beginning. I am sure once he gets to interact with the other actors and as he studies the role of On Dal, I am sure he will be much better in the coming episodes. I like him in Mr. Queen and he was so good in his role that he made the audiences hated and in the end pity him when he died. Overall, I wish the best for him and the other actors, producers, crew, etc., for the success of the show.

I finally started to watch this Kdrama this weekend, and binge-watched until episode 8. Now I understand why some viewers said that the changes in castings of On Dal is jarring. I was getting used to Ji Soo's On Dal, until episode 6 where he was thrown into prison trying to rescue the FL/Pyeong Gang, and then suddenly in episode 7, when On Dal was released and returned back to his village where I saw the rest of the gang, I was actually looking for Ji Soo and got to see Na In Woo's face instead.
Yes, it was quite jarring for me, and the new On Dal is not as goofy and boisterous as the old On Dal. Also I can see why some viewers complained there was no chemistry between the new On Dal and Pyeong Gang.

I agree with you. I find it to be really entertaining and addictive. I especially love the onscreen chemistry between the ML and FL (must be due to their great acting and director's good directing). There is not too much misunderstanding and their separations are not too long. I love their relationship and how they respect and grow to love each other. Actually, I live to see their sweet moments together. I don't find these kind of relationships in most C-dramas.

I totally agree with you. That nasty MIL is totally ungrateful and unreasonable. Her beloved nasty murderous niece only got sent away for murdering the ML's first wife and 2nd unborn child, while she wanted Shiyi to be killed just for injuring her precious son. I am really sick of that MIL.... uuurgghhhhh.... I really admire Shiyi's patience

This is really a cheesy cheap C-drama but since I have nothing better to watch as a filler drama, I will watch this C-drama as entertainment fun. I don't really like the FL, but the ML is dumb but funny

How can he get rid of Qiao when he loses his wife ShiYi (FL)? If he divorces his wife, wouldn't one of his concubine be upgraded as his wife? Or will he get another legal wife?

I cannot believe that the Marquis/General wants to divorce Shi Yi, considering he came to fall in love with her and enjoys her company the most. On top of that, I saw previews showing Shi Yi in prison and going to be hanged.
I think this C-drama will be worst than the Story of Ming Lan but slightly better than Yangxi Palace. In Yangxi Palace, the FL suffered a lot before she managed to snare the Emperor's affection - she had so many scheming concubines and royal consorts to fight with, and plus the Emperor's was initially prejudice against her. It took me 3-4 tries to finally finished that drama; it was hard watching the abuses the FL got.
Why does almost all historical C-dramas have tragic storylines? I was hoping for a not-so-tragic C-drama with this one. Sigh... LOL...

Thank you for the spoiler. Even though it breaks my heart that it is not the happy ending I was expecting, I am not sure if I can wait for Season 2. I will remember this drama for the happy times for the 1st half of the show, when Ning Yi was happy with his Tan'Er and just earning money for her.
