The only thing so far that I currently don't understand is "what's wrong with the people criticizing him for playing…
I really loved it when he got angry in the episode 10 of A Piece of Your Mind. How could a guy look so sexy when he us angry..?
About people saying that he only plays the role if a Good person, I think that they didn't really understand his role in Something in the Rain, in that it was him who was tired of the fight and tries to make her run away. That character was not a flawless character. What I have seen the most from kdramas is that the Audiences normally puts all the faults into a woman character and thinks that The Male character is a Perfect one. I still don't know why (maybe, patriarchy is the reason)

First of all thank you for your valuable feedback. I have seen When the weather is fine, but to be honest I was…
For me it was the Second leads who had the cutest Romance and the best chemistry. Also, loved the character of Im Hwi (the Sister) she was soo good. But the main lead Romance were a big let down for me, so I couldn't consider it that good. Then Again, I completely respect your opinion and could understand why you find it like a Hot Coffee on a Cold Morning.

You are absolutely right in a way. However, In my opinion the main theme of the drama is for her to choose between…
Not really, I would say. I personally think that a character shouldn't change all of a sudden. If they were to change the characters of her Ex or her father within just one or two episodes, it would feel unnatural and rushed. Somethings need to take some time. Same was the case with the Mother Character in Something in the Rain. About the Single mother Side story, the theme of the drama is not that and focusing too much on that plot would actually shift us away from the main theme. It's a nice way to use side stories as fillers, but then it will not be the story that the writer wanted to say. You know, Too many cooks could spoil the broth. But then again Each to their own opinion, and I completely respect your. ^_^

My Best Melo-Romance drama in list is A piece of your mind [ Also Just between Lovers is also like very very good…
A Piece of Your Mind was such a healing drama. Because they cut short the episodes, I was really sad and the fact that there could've been a better version of this masterpiece really breaks my heart.
Yeah, One Spring Night is a really good drama. I would suggest you to watch Something in the Rain after that. Just don't listen to any of the negative comments, just watch this masterpiece with sn open mind and I am sure that you'll not only find the best Romantic Kdrama but also will help you understand about many sensitive topics, change your attitude and in overall be a better person.

My main problem with One Spring Night is that they could have other plots after ep 08 but they kept bringing out…
You are absolutely right in a way. However, In my opinion the main theme of the drama is for her to choose between the lately found love or commitment. It was a drama which focuses on the decision of her. As for her to be sure of her feelings, make sure that it isn't just a fling, accept that love can change and will not remain same forever, we should put effort into love etc. Introducing new plot points will shift the focus from the core theme and will make it feel like fillers to make it into 16 episodes. That is one of the reason why I didn't like When the weather is fine, they had lots of side stories and sometimes, they are even better than the main ones.

Thank You, thank you, and thank you again for this article. Oh my my Finally someone. You get me, mate. Be my…
Hahaha. Actually one of my purpose behind writing this article was to sent out a signal to all the Something in the Rain enthusiasts like me. It was literally a Masterpiece and I was not able to find any other drama that would even come close to that one. You should really give Secret Love Affair a try, although it has a slow vibe to it, and could make us uncomfortable (due to our misplaced sense of righteousness, Affair Duh.) it has the best ending I've ever seen in a Kdrama.
Heard it through the Grapevine had been in my PTW list for a long time, the number of episodes is the main reason why I am hesitant to start it. Heard that it has some black comedy in it and the main leads have Grey shades to the character, and Oh Yes, a cute baby, those were some of the reasons that I am considering to watch this show.
just say me how is it and how many episodes have you watched yet. All I need is a little push. ^_^

I feel like Secret Affair is such and underrated drama, it's so beautiful and I loved it so much. I loved how…
Yeah, it had one of the best Ending I've ever seen in a kdrama. Even though it was sad, I really loved the way they went on with the Story.
There was tension, love, suspense and the best part about it was that we could literally feel what the characters are feeling when they are in an Affair. Kim Hee Ae is a really talented actress and she could actually make us feel that. Have you seen World of the Married? Her acting in that one is Phenomenal.
It also teaches me the lesson that What You do when you have everything is Actually what defines you as a person. In the End when she had actually won against all the odds and then decided to do the right thing, it was something that touched my heart very much, there was no other ending in any other drama that made me this happy and sad at the same time. And this drama holds a special place in my heart for that very reason. Also the Piano scenes were soo very well choreographed. My favourite scene was that when they were hearing the Song Piano Man. <3<3<3

I hated the fact that APOYM was cut down from 16 episodes to 12. So, I think you probably felt this too that how…
Even though it was cut short to just 12 episodes, I really enjoyed the chemistry between the leads. In my opinion, if they were to cut it short, they should have gone back to the script, altered the script and should've done some reshoots. Editing the scenes to cut short the episodes actually makes things become a mess.
Still I enjoyed it very much. Then Again I could literally sit and watch Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin do nothing all day. ^o^

I really hope that you haven't read the Spoilers. I am so envious of you. You could watch these dramas without knowing what's going on. Wow. (^o^)

Dramas with Jung Haein are literally the best romance dramas! They are my favourite and I watched them many times.…
Yeah, at first I was a bit skeptical when he was paired alongside Son Ye Jin for Something in the Rain. Because all I've seen hin is from Romcoms like While you were Sleeping and Dramas like Prison Playbook. I never thought he could've pulled of a Romantic role perfectly.
And Oh Boy I was soo Wrong.
With Just one drama he became the king of Romance for me. I've never seen an actor expressing love out of his eyes like Jung Hae In did.
Although I wanted him to try different type of Genres like RomCom, Action, Comedy etc. there's a part of me that wishes to see him in a Romantic Melo Drama. ^_^

What a list! The ones that I have seen are in my top favorites.Melodrama is my favorite genre after romance. When…
Especially A Piece of Your mind, the Ratings were literally about 1% in Korea. If the show was on Netflix, I think that many of the International Audiences will have appreciated the drama more and that it won't be cut short to 12 episodes. It's like the Snyder Cut moment of Kdrama for me. :-{

Also think A Piece Of Your Mind would potentially be at the top of this list had it not been cut down and rushed…
Had it not been cut and if I had an opportunity to see the Drama it it's full glory (16 episodes), I would've placed it along with Just Between Lovers.
At first I was also of the same opinion after I watched One Spring Night. But later, when I revisited Something in the Rain, I was able to understand more about the character of Jin Ah.
One Spring Night seems consistent with the characters, however the characters in Something in the Rain are Raw and Real as per my opinion. They are the characters with lots of flaws and also confused as well. She doesn't know what to do in that sort of situation. Also, Something in the Rain has a complete character development as to learning to love oneself as well as deals with a very sensitive topic in the most realistic way. There are a lot of sad moments, but it's realistic nonetheless.

As a male viewer i related so much to everything that you said in the first paragraph, not enough romance , no…
First of all thank you for your honest opinion.
At first, It was the same for me. I didn't like Something in the Rain after the 9th episode and I felt like they ruined the show. But afterwards, when I started to think about it again and again I could really understand her decisions. Unlike other Female leads from many other dramas, Jin Ah is a person who doesn't love herself. Although she is a capable woman, she thinks that whatever others are doing is for her own good (including her mom and Joon Hee). The drama really shows us how she grows as a character and that is one thing that we cannot find in many other dramas. She is a Character with flaws, and makes many bad decisions. Also, most of the audiences seems to think that Joon Hee doesn't have any flaws, which is also incorrect. We were so used to seeing perfect characters who knows what they want in life, that we fail to understand the realistic character that has been portrayed herein this drama. I would like to ask you to take a step back, look at the situation from her perspective and try to understand the decisions (not justify it).
The main theme of the Drama is about a Middle aged woman learning to love herself, how to love and in what way to love, etc... And it does justice to all that.

There’s 3 dramas from Jung Hae In on the list LOL he is the melodrama prince .
Of Course, I couldn't find any ither actor who could express love like him. I could feel him shooting love out of his eyes. He really knows how to show love through his eyes, that's a rare talent that I don't find in many of the Top A list actors.

First of all thank you for your valuable feedback. I have seen When the weather is fine, but to be honest I was not satisfied with the chemistry between the leads. I acan understand the fanbase for that drama and why many people loved it, but for me the second leads had better chemistry than the main leads. Also I feel like they diluted the Issues faced by the male lead and resolved it without showing us much about it.
I liked the side stories though, howver not the main leads. I feel the director is making Park Min Young to look good for the Camera and that makes me not get invested in her character.
Personally I couldn't feel the chemistry between the leads at all. Then again it's just my personal opinion. And I can understand why people liked that show. The setting and ambience of the show was really good though. Really loved the first two episodes, then it went downhill for me.

Peppermint Candy, at first I didn't get the critical appraisal and the hype surrounding that movie. But when I read more about it, it was the story of South Korea depicted through the ups and downs in a Man's Life. Just thinking about how they incorporated history of a Country into a Man's Life Blew my mind. And, I really loved that movie.

I've started watching when the love blooms after reading your article.
The past scenes were like dream sequences, it makes me smile and they're really cute. Then they come back to the Present, it feels like the harsh reality. The drana is like Dreaming and then again waking up from the dream in each and every episode. It's really making me feel sad. Then again I find myself waiting for the next episodes. :'(

Reply series are not Romantic dramas, they are more like Slice of Life. Have already seen them. One of my favourite.

Title The World of the Married Spoiler
No she's just a rich spoiled brat who thinks that she must get everything that she wants. Her marriage was never…
Giving up on a person and getting an abortion are two completely different things. She said that she got an abortion to Tae Oh because she didn't want him to be with her or pressure him to be with her because of the baby. She wanted him to be with her. Getting an abortion is something that is a really difficult decision. I think that it's not a ploy but rather a really hard decision to make.
Maybe, you are right in a way, then again, she never used Jenny as a means to pressure him to Be with her, even after the marriage.
