Hello from another huge Ahn Pan Seok fan. He has been my favorite for quite some time now, ever since I discovered…
Yeah... I really feel you. The analogy about being a part of the elite club really cracked me up. (^o^). A Wife's Credentials along with Heard it through the Grapevine and Marriage Contract has been on my watch list for quite some time. Couldn't get the time to binge watch these dramas mainly because I am watching some of the ongoing ones. And About Another Miss Oh, I really loved that drama, but I consider it more like a RomCom fantasy rather than a Romantic Melodrama. The reason being there are many scenes and characters that really crack me up. And that's one of the main reason why I didn't include it on my list. Glad to find a fellow MDLr who appreciates Ahn Pan Seok. There are only a few people who actually appreciates directors and not the Actors or writers and I am really glad that I found one. ^_^
Just Between Lovers touched my heart and stayed with me more than any other drama could ever...
Yeah, It was such a gem. Relatable and the way the Leads Supported each other was really nice. Not only that, all the characters were really well written. Even there were characters who understood the villain. It was really refreshing to watch something like that.
Just Between Lover's takes the cake as my favorite Melo-romance drama (and favorite drama of all time), and I…
Even though One Spring Night had the normal trope that you find in Kdramas, they actually took it for a spin and actually made it better. I really hope that you'll pick it up and finish it. I would like to ask you to read a comment by Luna123 down below wherein she explains how they took the usual Kdrama trope to a spin in a brilliant way. About Something in the Rain, I understand the outrage, and at first I disliked it, but it was after thinking about it, that I was able to understand the decisions made by them. Then again not everyone will appreciate it and I can Understand. As I said in the Article, It was something that had me over the moon with the first few episodes, and then made me land back to earth with its realistic take on the plot. About A Piece of Your Mind, even though they made the episode cut, they did mange to keep the drama pretty well without falling apart. I've seen a lot of shows rushed and made into a mess by cutting short and this is not one of them. The fact that there's a longer version of it out there is what irks me. For me it was like not being able to see the extended version. They didn't mess up the story or the characters at all. And I think that you'll probably love it. I would recommend that you give it a shot. And I am really glad that you are going to give Secret Love Affair a shot!!. It was such a Good drama, but Underrated due to it's name.
Great list. Loved Something in the Rain but oh my god why di they have to play "Stand by your man" that many times.…
Yeah, I totally get it. There are people really annoyed by the Repeated use of Stand by Your Man and Save the Last Dance for Me. Although I really loved it, I can understand why people could find it annoying. :-)
Wow, You had a great start for Kdramas. But, now I think it will be hard to find dramas that will top those ones.…
Yeah. A point where we agree to disagree. Actually I enjoyed the tone, setting and all of When the weather is fine, the main problem for me was the chemistry between the leads and the acting seemed a little fake. (maybe, it's just me, don't like Park Mi Young's acting, more of a personal preference thing). I would like to recommend When the Love Blooms (ongoing). The tone of the show is similar to our preferences, although I liked the Past a little bit more than the Present shown in the show.
Love this list. Those are my favourite kind of dramas to watch and the reason I got into kdramas in the first…
Wow, You had a great start for Kdramas. But, now I think it will be hard to find dramas that will top those ones. About When the Weather is fine, I can understand why people love it and has a big fan base, but, Personally I didn't like it. Couldn't dig the chemistry between the leads, and I feel that the side stories and second leads were much more interesting than the main ones. Don't want to bash on your favourite show, So I'll stop here. ^_^
Unfortunately everyones taste is different. Didnt like any of these. Thought they were painful to watch!
Well, Anyways Thank you for Sharing your Honest Opinion. I know that not everyone will like my choices and it's really nice to see someone with a different opinion.
Can't believe that You haven't seen One Spring Night after watching Something in the Rain. Just watch it already, I am Sure you are definitely going to love it. (Well, not as much as Something in the rain :)). Hope that you haven't read any spoilers. ^_^
I know that you guys are team Chi hong, but still, that was completely wrong. Ik Jun always acts that way around…
Chi Hong really did have his doubts and the way he acts when Ik Jun is around Song Hwa shows us that he is jealous about Ik Jun. Ik Jun's random calls are not something that should be a concern as they had been friends for a long time. And nobody knows the reason why Ik Jun called her as she said that Chi Hong is near her and the phone is on speaker. Maybe, he called to talk about something personal?
Seriously I'm so disappointed by Ik jun, the way he overreact with Song hwa whenever Chi hong is there, I felt…
I know that you guys are team Chi hong, but still, that was completely wrong. Ik Jun always acts that way around all the others. It was Doctor Chi hong getting jealous and trying to corner Ik Jun. He didn't have to make an awkward situation when Ik Jun clearly avoided it. But Dr Chi hong was being jealous.
I really love "A Piece of Your Mind"! The others, they never really appealed to me. But I might give "Just Between…
Happy to find A Piece of Your Mind enthusiast like me^_^. I Guess your preference is more like soft hearted shows rather than shows with a Heavy theme. I can really relate to it. After all, I guess we are all watching dramas as a means of escapism. :) Ohh About Just Between Lovers, it's a really beautiful healing drama with really well written side characters. Hope that you haven't read any of the Spoilers and will enjoy it. ^_^
I love seeing Jung Hae In in 3/5 of your list! He's definitely a great actor with melodramas tbh. The way he's…
Wow. Great list. Haven't seen MARS and Autumn's Concerto, there are a lot of good things that I hear about them. Has been in my PTW list for a long time. Will definitely check it out. Come and Hug me is such a Great show, became a fan of Jin Ki Joo after watching it. I see it more of a Mystery Thriller than a Romantic Melodrama. But yeah really a Great Choice. I wish that you watch Something in the Rain and A Piece of Your mind, bith of them are completely different from each other yet somehow similar to each other too. I really hope that you haven't read any spoilers. ^_^
I guess that you've seen almost all of them. I would like to recommend the following ones Secret Find me in your memory Marriage Contract Familiar Wife Encounter Tune in For love (movie) When the weather is fine A Wife's Credentials When my love blooms (ongoing) Heard it through the Grapevine
Especially A Piece of Your mind, the Ratings were literally about 1% in Korea. If the show was on Netflix, I think…
It's kind of Relatable for me in a way. I think that we all have some dramas/movies that was not accepted/liked by the General Public, but something that we adore.
