I personally think that Coffee prince was the drama which kick started the whole Strong Female Troupe. Also Reply 1988 and Mr. Sunshine had Strong Female Lead. My problem with for Strong female lead in Romantic dramas is that, when there is no much chemistry between the leads, no matter how Good the Female character is, I can't watch the drama. The Prime examples are Search WWW and Hotel del Luna. I didn't like the chemistry between the leads and feels like the Romance is forced. So dropped both of them. (especially Search WWW, he was too arrogant for a young man)
BAEK IN HO from CHEESE IN THE TRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THE MOST ICONIC SECOND MALE LEAD.He is the guy.> He buys her…
Baek in ho from Cheese in the Trap is the only Second Lead that at I wish that the girl end up with. Because when I saw them pairing Seol and Yoon, it felt like forcing romance into the characters and the typical 'making a better person out of a bad boy because of love' cliche. Also, Beak was one of the few Second Leads in kdrama who didn't frustrate the viewers by stalking the heroine and all. Normally I hate love triangles and would skip almost all the scenes with the Second Leads, but Baek In Ho from Cheese in the Trap was the only exception. For me it was thevHero, Yoon that frustrated me the most.
Wow... Cool article... First and foremost because it's a Taiwanese drama, I think that most of the people are not going to give it a chance... But still, you have convinced me to give it a try. I've been sold by the synopsis that you have to the drama. Moreover, the 10 episode and the no filler point made me really want to watch it more than any other ongoing dramas. Once again thank you for the wonderful suggestion. I know for sure that this dramas is going to be like something that I've never seen before. (I can see that from your enthusiasm in writing this article) .
One of the reasons I love the drama Just between Lovers is that how the writers treated the villain character. In the series the guy is not pure evil and rather does the evil deeds because he lacks love out its lonely. I loved it how they gave him his own happy ending. Honestly, it's my first time seeing the Villain guy with a happy ending... And I loved it. For me, personally, Just between Lovers is one of the best romantic Kdramas I've ever seen.
