* You don't say "transgeders". It's an adjective. "Transgender person" is okay.
Ok sir...
On Itaewon Class Mar 10, 2020
I heard people say that this drama deals with the problems of transgender.
Let me say it loud and clear.
This Drama doesn't give a shit about transgenders.
If they did, they would've casted a male actor and made him dress as a female.
That's normally how a transgender person looks like. Not dressing a female actor as a male and making her into a female. I am not saying Lee JooYoung is a bad actor, she's wonderful in this role, but the role should be given to a male/transgender actor. That would be true to the character .(Like in the movie the King and the Clown 2005)

Maybe the director is afraid to take risk. If they wanted to change the outlook of people, this is not how they should do it.

Well not everyone is a Good person. And I think that we've already established that neither the female lead nor the male lead is a good person with morals.

This is not going will, I see no equal matches here, like FL know and control everything, this reminds me of Misty,…
How many times have we seen a Female lead be just any other side character..? Countless times...
So I don't think that it will hurt to see the Male Lead being trampled by the female lead...
Actually this makes the show more interesting, showing that the arrogant male lead could be taught a lesson by none other than the smart cunning female lead.

LOL, Sometimes I just assume the extremes in terms of characters behavior. I am from India, in most of our Romance movies they show stalking as a romantic thing and in the end the female leads ends up falling in love due to the Stalking. Everybody knows that the stalking culture is unacceptable, but romantic movies tend to show them as "true love". So generally, whenever I find Secret Admirers, I tend to think that they are mostly stalkers. I am of the opinion, people who grew up watching these stalking romantic movies thinks that stalking is an acceptable behavior an act of true love. :P xD

She has not suddenly developed feelings for him. She has been slowly since ep 1 and possibly since high school…
Ok then, I kind of agree that calling it stalking was a bit too much. But, I don't feel the chemistry between the leads. Don't get me wrong, I am a sucker for slow paced romantic dramas, but the feel that I got from the first two episodes isn't there. I mean the first episodes gave me a feel of homeliness and the vibe between the characters were a lot better. I don't know how to put it, but there's something missing in the 3rd and the 4th episode that is there in the first two episodes. I suddenly feel like the romance is rushed, the dependence of Hea Won on Eun Sub has increased suddenly and it doesn't feel very natural.

Review Hyena
You should not write a review for a show before it's completely aired. Doing this means that you are trying to degrade the show. Maybe there are people who likes the show. Write a review after the show is completely aired. And please don't discourage others when they are going to try something. Not everyone has the same taste /preference. I kindly request you to take down this review and write it after The show had completely aired. There is always an option to comment about the drama in the comment section. By doing this you are simply affecting the ratings of a show that hasn't been completely aired. You could drop it and record your dislike about this drama in the comments section...

I hope the episodes have the same length as Reply 1994, Reply 1988 and Prision Playbook. I hope TVN gives the…
It's Lee Woo Jung (writer) he was able to spin off 3 Reply series which were one better than the other. So, I am not worried about it.
Also, everybody would be really happy if we get a 2nd season for Prison Playbook. They way Woo Jung writes his story is different from other Kdramas. It does not completely revolve around one end goal. It's all in the feels. So, it makes me hopeful for the second season. :)

From the first episode itself I never thought of dropping it. I was a bit skeptical to start the drama because I was sure that by the end it would break my heart. xD

Gang Hwa is not a good husband - I definitely agree
Min Jung is not a good mother - I would term it as inexperienced, she's not a bad one either. She's just a little inexperienced. You know she just became a mother all of a sudden just because she likes Gang Hwa. And him not showing any affection towards her not helping her in looking after Seo woo. Actually I would say that he is a bad father too.
I believe Yuri's comeback is to let Gang Hwa realise the value of people around him (like Min Jung) to let go of the past and be a better man and a better father.

Each to their own opinion, but personally I don't feel the chemistry between the leads. Also I thought that we could see Park Min Young in a different role other than her previous dramas. But, as usual Park Min Young is type casted, the vibe that I felt from the first two episodes is gone from the third episode.
As for the stalking scenario, I find it really creepy to give a nickname, carving it into a car chain, writing blogs about her etc... Also that starting scene could be made creepy with a change in background music.

Actually I watch only kdramas, but Someday or Oneday and The world between us were the only exception. And those were the only Taiwanese drama that I've watched.

On When the Weather Is Fine Mar 5, 2020
I liked the first two episodes, it was warm slow and lovely. This drama captures Park Min Young's beauty perfectly. Each and every frame when Park Min Young appears it seems to bright up the drama.
But the 3rd and 4th episodes were a total let down for me. Suddenly out of nowhere Hae Won falls for Eun Sub. Now she is getting jealous, looking upto him showing him as the alpha male. Typical Park Min Young character (I thought at least this drama would be different as the first two episodes focused on her struggles and her finding comfort in the village and the people) . But, the romantic aspect hit too fast.
Also, I don't dig the chemistry between the leads (Actually, they don't have much of a chemistry between them).
As for me one of the main issue with the drama is the Stalking. It is not a good thing to Stalk like that. The MC IS A STALKER (There, I said it). The main difference between a Stalker and Secret Admirer is 1.Good Looks and 2.Background music.
If Eun Sub wasn't a handsome guy, or if the Background music is replaced with something spooky or even thriller like, he would be a Stalker rather than a Secret Admirer (One side Love).
No, even if he was Handsome, the Background music could alone make him a stalker (eg: Strangers from Hell).
The Only Reason for me to try out this drama is Park Min Young. But just like all the other Park Min Young character it's just the same. So, I am considering about dropping the drama.

Actually, I hate time travelling and Complicated plot lines. Dramas are actually more of a guilty pleasure for me rather than something to ponder upon. But Someday or Oneday is an exception, even when I feel much frustrated and painful by the plot, there s are comfort moments such as the romance in the future etc...
I really hope that Kdramas could come with something wonderful and intriguing like that.
Currently I am Watching Itaewon Class and When the weather is fine.
And both of them doesn't have a good romance in them. Watching them only for ir Kim Da Mi and Park Min Young. (seriously considering dropping When the weather is fine, it's just a stalking romance story)
