Yeah, I really love it when actors actually chooses the roles that they wants to play, let it be Antagonists, Protagonist or even side characters. That is when they put in their best performance.

And your take on One Spring Night taking kdrama formulas for a spin was simply brilliant I loved it. I've never thought about it that way.
Actually I never thought that I could see a Drama like Something in the Rain or One Spring Night unless Director Ahn Pan Seok makes a new one, and oh boy therein comes A Piece of Your Mind, a drama which is completely different yet similar. ^_^

Wow. You have lots of good dramas in your list. Have seen many of them. Although there are instances that I disagree with your list (Especially, when the weather is fine), I could really understand why you like all of them and respect your opinion.
Many of the Dramas you've listed is somewhat in a border line with Fantasy, Romcom etc.
About Someday or Oneday, it is also one of my all time favourites. But I don't really know in which Genre I should include it. It has comedy, Romance, Melodrama, Mystery, Thriller, Time Travel, Fantasy. It's like it has everything and is a perfect blend of all the Genre.

Hmm.. So you are the type who really enjoys depth themes in dramas. I really appreciate it that your sense of morality doesn't cloud your Judgement. You have my Respect My dear friend.

Wow, I think that we have really different tastes. So it's knid of hard for me to relate with your views regarding Noona Romance, Chae Soo Bin, Han Ji Min etc.
Just Between Lovers didn't have any steamy kiss scenes, but in my opinion, it has one of the cutest kiss scene.

Yeah, I really loved Chae Soo Bin in that. It was like she was made to play that role. I feel like this was the role wherein her potential was really utilised.
About Secret Love Affair, I really hope that you haven't read any of the spoilers.

I really hope that Secret Love Affair is not pushed too much down in your list, because it really is a Masterpiece by Ahn Pan Seok with a solid performance from Kim Hee Ae (The World of the Married).

Although, the list may seem biased, Let me assure you that three of my top picks is not biased at all.
Something in the Rain - As it was the first drama of Jung Hae In as a main character, I was a bit skeptical at first. I have only seen him play Second lead in While you were sleeping and some minor role in Goblin. I was not really sure whether he could pull off this role really well. But he did it so well. Also the themes handled in that drama is something that I could not handled as good as this one find in any other dramas.
Secret Love Affair - You know, from the name itself, I was a little skeptical to start it. Then the pacing of the drama was also slow. However, when I continue to watch it, it easily became one of the best dramas with solid performance, direction, and an awesome ending.
Just Between Lovers - Before watching this drama, I was a big fan of RomComs and not interested in Melo Romance Dramas. But this drama hanged my opinion and pushed me towards the Melo Romance Genre.

Ahh, and about Secret Love Affair, I really hope that you haven't read any of the spoilers. Please don't read any spoilers or Reviews, Everyone has a different taste, and some people's reviews are most likely close minded.

It has one of the best and most satisfying ending I've seen in a Kdrama.

Yeah, I do agree with you on Something in the Rain. Also, I felt that One Spring Night is a toned down version to fit the taste of Korean Audience. Still, If there hadn't been Something in the Rain, One Spring Night would have been my first choice..
About A Piece of Your mind, I do kind if agree that it would be higher in the list, however the thought that there could've been a longer and better version of this masterpiece irks me so much that I couldn't place it anymore higher.
I am also having serious withdrawal symptoms after watching A Piece of Your mind, to this day, I still watch some clips, fab edits, listen to the songs, watch Behind the scenes etc fom YouTube. My YouTube feed is almost full of A Piece of Your mind recommendations. ^_^

I can really understand that some couldn't appreciate A Piece of Your Mind. I had many of my friends who didn't like it and found it to be boring.
Among your list the only one I've watched is Secret, even though I really loved the Chemistry between the leads and could easily top my list of favourite dramas, the second leads were quite a bit not upto my taste. Also, I had a slight disagreement with those forced kiss scene. (I understand that the leads was able to express lots of emotions through that scene, I couldn't just stand a forced kiss Scene).
As for Chinese dramas, I haven't watched many of them, no. of episodes being the main limiting factor. The only one's I've watched are some cute Romcoms (A love so beautiful and Put your head on my shoulder).
Will give it a try someday. But I don't really like Historical dramas, hope that Sealed with a kiss is not a historical one. ^_^

I've seen Come and Hug me and Scent of a Woman.
The Villian in Come and Hug Me is menacing. Also Jin Ki Joo is one of my favourite actress.
On the way to the Airport has been there in my PTW list for a long time. That winter the wind blows is among the most recommended dramas in this comment section and I'll give it a try.
Although I can kind of understand why you didn't like Just Between Lovers and Something in the Rain, I couldn't just agree with you. The problem with most of the audiences being disappointed with Something in the Rain is that they were looking for an easy to watch feel good Romantic Drama, and that is how it looked like on the surface, especially the first few episodes. But it had a lot of depth towards it. It portrays the real life problems, the characters were flawed, the decisions taken by the characters were realistic and the tone of drama became close to reality, which made the audiences who are normally watching dramas as a means of escape from the real world disappointed. It deals with the Issue of Sexual Harassment in the most realistic manner with a realistic conclusion as well.
