That might not register as much since the media only covers the hate part (which sucks, ik). It's known more for that. The cast and staff even had to make a statement about it.
I know it's pessimistic but yeah, just trying to play devil's advocate here. I wish they would make a 2nd season but with how things are, there's a slim chance.
On the other hand, if it continues to blow up internationally, China might look at that angle and push for a 2nd season like what they did with Well-Intended Love (which I didn't like, but heyy, it was popular thanks to the Netflix push).

Yeah her acting isn't the best but imo the best thing about this show is the leads' chemistry. I thought that was the general opinion but people do have different tastes so it's fine!
