It's open-ended and I choose to believe that they're alive.
Xiukai was in the same clothes he was in during his death. There are no OOTDs in the afterlife! Lol. Shaotian, while at the crossroad, was wearing blue pajamas but the ending showed him in hiking clothes and later changed to a suit. Jia'en changed from hiking clothes to a cocktail dress.
Someone mentioned below about Xiukai wanting to take his heart back from Shaotian. After that scene, the new heart arrived, and it is likely that he had his 2nd transplant.
And the proposal happened. Who gets married in the afterlife? Do they even plan to "bear a child" there?
Why the rating is only 7.9?It is worth for more rating,i think it should be 8.5+.Who loves to watch full of romance,i…
Sound technicalities aside, it went well until they dragged out the romance part, which was the main theme of the drama. It was like watching an old-school kdrama (think: Full House) where there was very good chemistry but we have to wait until forever for them to get together. Too long thatvthey already lost chemistry right after the Taipei performance party.
I am definitely NOT the person to enjoy older dramas, BUT THIS ONE? I loved it. I do admit Rains fashion at the…
Kang Hye Won's fashion is terrible too. Was there ever a time in the early 2000s when exposed underwear was fashionable, including attending a wedding?
Childhoold friends came back to their hometown from Taipei due to grandfather's death. Acoording to the will, they needed to get married for a year for their inheritance.

There are subbed clips in YT channel newshowbiz. It covers the whole plot between the main couple. There were a lot of subplots/couples going on, some of them did not interest me.
Episodes 1-3 came by so quickly, deama seemed to be promising.
Episodes 4-8: everything was a mess. I did not understand where the story was going. The humor was off, they tried to be funny but was not. Sound effects and cinematography were horrible, it destroyed everything.
Episodes 8 onwards: started getting better and better. Maybe they had to rethink the whole thing. No over-the-top comedy, sound effects got a lot better, there was a plot, and finally, the chemistry started building up.
I was happy on the days I spent watching this, foumd kyself smiling all the time. This was too sweet, I got a toothache once I finished.
I just feel that this is more of Shangyan's story. Flashback scenes with Team Solo is too repetitive, while Nian's greatness (singing, academic work) was merely mentioned or shown too briefly.
I’m on the third episode and the female lead is batshit crazy stalker ! It’s so hard for me to continue watching…
In the world of Asian dramas, the leads usually start off bickering. I guess the stalking is the writer's attempt to differentiate. Nevertheless, it is still the same hate-to-love formula.
i do love this drama but i think I mightve wanted a bit more wow from the FL's career? to see him support her…
I also hoped for the same, because niannian was supposed to be as great as shangyan. She developed awesome software to detect criminals, some illness, and also some for k&k, but they were only mentioned. She was supposed to be a popular internet sensation, but other than 2 fan meetings - 1 attended by him - that was it. On the other hand, shangyan's CTF team took the spotlight.
