I still don't get why this drama is sooo under rated! The actors are all excellent--including Lee Min Ho, Park…
I would have ro agree with captainamerica - it is overrated.
The actors are great but I feel that they are too mature to fill the roles.
The story is basically a bunch of rich, spoiled, shallow kids who get what they want regardless of the consequences. Character growth only showed in episode 20.
The rich parents were no exception. The chairman is very childish - why will he fight with teenagers?
Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin were fully-grown adults to play sophomore roles. Why did they not choose to place these characters in more mature setting, like office or university? Is it because they wanted to justify pointless fist fights and mommy/daddy drama?
This was a 16-episode series but it felt like a lifetime to end. There were 4 love stories that all seemed to…
Mimo - Frustrating with too many subplots going on. Poor character development - she was irrational from start to end. She caught her bf proposing to another woman then got married to her childhood friend the same day. She was rushed to the ER the following night, confessed she liked the doctor right then, and very soon, started dating. If they stuck with the romcom vibe, this should be fine, but this led to overly dramatic plot with 3 unnecessary 3rd-party subplots. When the main leads got the chance to be together, there came useless conflicts involving her ex-husband. When that story finally resolved and they had the chance to marriage, there she went with irrational thoughts again.
Dajeong - This was the strongest character. Their marriage arrangement was out of the ordinary but the plot and character development moved in a consistent, coherent, steady pace.
Dongmi - Funny and cute. Her 1st storyline was not necessary, 2nd storyline was better.
Aeran - Too much push and pull that it became overly cliched.
This was a 16-episode series but it felt like a lifetime to end. There were 4 love stories that all seemed to follow a push-and-pull pattern. The first episode was fun, then became melodramatic somewhere in the middle, and became ridiculous towards the end.
I found it very hard to empathize with the main leads - they were perfect actors, but I felt the characters were…
Dokyung was the worst character. He revenged on someone he assumed his ex was going to marry. To make it worse, he decided based on hitting bull's eye.
Haeyoun was just as bad. While honesty and boldness were her major strengths, she often appeared to be immature - hence, she often acted without thinking about the consequences. Her mother was also annoying for treating her like a child, but it was because she acted like a child.
I found it very hard to empathize with the main leads - they were perfect actors, but I felt the characters were badly written. Also, the flashback on the accident was jusy overly rwpetitive. The last scene on the finale saved this from being the worst drama I have ever watched, this was the part I enjoyed the most.
I loved it but I understand why the comments here are against this drama.
On top of the noona romance, this drama has a lot of themes - age, marriage and divorce, parenthood, friendship, corporate politics - told in several perspectives. This is one of the few dramas where I appreciated ALL side stories. That being said, I feel that the target audience are women 35+.
The script tends to be poetic and philosophical. It is romantic but sometimes cheesy, comedic but sometimes melodramatic, entertaining but sometimes annoying.
No 3rd party drama, they get dealt with pretty quick. Characters are generally smart, save for some just for comic relief, which was dealt with quickly as well.
Im in episode 14. This is jun pyo's story. They used the wrong title.
I finally understand why the commenters here are disappointed. But to be fair, it is a good drama, good actors and plot (this was 2016 when childhood amnesia seemed to be the common theme).
As I've said, this is Junpyo's story and was emphasized on the 2nd half of the series. Gong Shim became a backgound character (ironically) - it was not until ep 18 when she was again brought into the foreground. The title and synopsis should have been written better, just to set the audience expectations.
But I have to agree that the last episode was awful. The scene with Jun Pyo's family meeting was not even important. And why did they give Gong Mi a good ending? Even the last scene was not even relevant.
If there were less unnecessary plots, they could have built the more intensity on the main chatacters' story development.
The first third party should have stopped somewhere in the middle.l, like we really cared about her marriage. We did not need a second third party, she could be a rival but the roofdeck scene was totally unnecessary. It was a bit confusing too - why use the same actress? She got a lot of chatacter development, when she was just a supporting role.these subplots made the male lead appear cruel and insensitive.
The high school friend seemed to be an afterthought, but could have been nice if she was her voice of reason and someone she can run to when in trouble.
But it was an ok drama, not bad for me as others make of it.

At which episode will he find out that Jia is not a robot?
