To prevent myself from hating this drama, I skipped episodes 3-5, 12-15. I found these episodes boring and pointless. Character and plot development were shown at the finale anyway. 7 stars for me.
I didn't know they were couple in real life too i think it's not that common for couple to play together and they…
In the Philippines, real life couples (especially the younger ones) are often paired upin dramas and movies. I don't know why though. Maybe it's because the actors are not comfortable acting with other leads, maybe the producers love the chemistry and transparency, and/or because the people are generally conservative - they feel that being paired up with other leads is considered cheating.
I am glad that they did not give Xiao Jie the shabby look in the first few episodes. You know, the girl who wears…
All main leads are liars. Zi Qi lied abouthis relationship with Ji Qing. Tang Jun lied about being Tom (it's like stalking). Ji Qing about being together with Zi Qi (after they broke up). And before the middle of the series, XiaoJie realizes that her love for Zi Qi is a lie. Whenever they have the opportunity to come clean, the phone conveniently rings, lol.
And I am only in ep 11. I know there will be more lies when they come to England as well as from the Li family and company.
I am glad that they did not give Xiao Jie the shabby look in the first few episodes. You know, the girl who wears ragged clothes and messy hair. This almost always happens in Joe Chen dramas. At least they gave her decent clothes, nice house, and even money to study in England.
I cannot understand this show's very high rating. Didn't bother to check out the first episode and just downloaded…
If she had not gotten over her bestfriend by ep 4, then the eps would have been draggy and it could have ended with 31 eps like other annoying C-dramas.
This is a good drama until ep 15. Then the story goes crazy with fake illness and fake wedding photoshoot that FL had to witness. The ML should have been smarter and not fall in the trap.
I feel that Jung Eum had a hard time playing the quirky side of Hye Jun. The character is not very new in kdrama and I found actresses in that type of role cute and charming. June Eum was annoying -she probably interpreted quirky as noisy, lol. But she was ok in Hye Jun's calm scenes.
I'm only on episode 3 and I CAN'T STAND HER FREAKING OUT!!!It's generally annoying the shit out of me and I don't…
I'm on half of ep1 and I am annoyed. I don't get why and she is considered ugly - except for the fahion choices, she is fine, really. Anyway, my plan now is to skip the "ugly" part and watch from ep 7. Hope I wont be missing a lot.
I hate the term leftover woman... Can't they describe the female lead in a non insulting manner??
(What I am about to say is something I only learned from Cdramas and Google, lol)
"Leftover lady" is a direct translation for "sheng nu" - a single woman in her 20s. It used to be derogatory but in a modern context, it refers to an empowered woman.
Dropped. By the end of ep1, FL had already been manipulated twice by two different guys. I mean, I understand that naive FLs exist in Asian dramaland, but I just cannot.
And I am only in ep 11. I know there will be more lies when they come to England as well as from the Li family and company.
Will probably drop at ep 15 - or fast forward.
