I did watch His and I did like it. And it's also the first one I watched in a decade-ish that I actually liked. So--you can take that as you will. I might start watching them again because of that one. But if you have any other suggestions, that would be great

I think the reason they don't get more attention is because they're usually based off of manga. And coming from an old BL reader/watcher--like remember when Bangkok Love Story came out and it was such a big deal lmao because alot of us thought it would FINALLY have a happy ending--it always came off as if the two characters hated each other because they loved each other.
That's why I stopped watching Japanese BL and, in general, because of how they approached it. The ending was always tragic where they both died, or one died, or one moved across the ocean writing letters and dying separately never to see each other again. It was tiresome.
This mini-series almost felt like an apology for all those times . Something that doesn't even come out of Thai BL dramas, in all their sugary cuteness.

I liked the idea but not the intent and how it came off as. The outfits were great and acting was great.
