that's actually really in character. She doesn't actually have talents or skills. All she knows is gaslighting and manipulations. On her knees begging is just another act/manipulative move that she knows she can pull to get all this to end. It's for show and aligns with everything she did before
If ep9 was as amazing as it is, it's because we have all the build ups and character developments and understandings to their relationships and inner thoughts. It was absolutely necessary and beautiful to see how Jiwon has come to realized the results in 2023 wasn't just a last minute change from Soomin and Minhwan, but the depth of Soomin's evilness comes far far along and much deeper than Jiwon could have imagined. We needed to understand Jiwon's journey of change, and Jiwon needs to understand it is not just for revenge but for her own happiness.
The last two episodes were beautiful and packed with lots of insightful emotions. Kudos to the writer for writing such in-depth characters. The letter from Soomin is soooo spot on as someone who is a bully and master of gaslighting and manipulations. Why Jiwon cry? Why she hesitated? It's such a complicated situation and that's what a victim of 26 years of manipulation will go through. No one comes out from a abusive relationship in one night. And the amount of people go back to it even after beaten to death, Jiwon has been doing so good and satisfying even from the last 7 episodes alone.
Even for Jihyuk, the writer gave his character so much more depth than in the webtoon. I love all the improvements writer gave the story, it really brought the story to a much more matured level not just some "revenge clichés" but real progress of one finding back themselves and confidence and purpose.
If the past 8 episodes are summarized into whining crying around every corner and not pulling her big girl pants I honestly don't know if one is thinking or have actual human emotions lol
ep6 and ep7 are so packed with emotions and character development and building up much more depth of the relationships and characters! I am so glad this source material got a much better, needed, logical and quality update!!! writer please continue to work your magic!
damn 10 mins into ep1 I knew this is going to be fire. the directing and script seem very strong and the acting is just cherry on top!! 2 eps done boy was I not wrong this is soooooo good already???

I really like the drama lets FL have her time to grow and reflect, then relive the same exact moment but with better methods. it’s like how in real life we often think back to the situation wishing we could have said things differently - she gets the exact situation to literally redo it again. unlike most reborn revenge dramas where the leads don’t need to go through the same exact situation, this one sticks very closely to the first time how it happened - that makes it fun.
also FL isn’t changed over night. she literally just got killed by her husband and best friend and the next second they showed up right in front of her face. she needs time to process. she’s been in abusive relationships for decades since she was in her teens until her 40s. she lacked confidence and doesn’t know her worth and have been thinking she’s a terrible person.
the drama took quite some screen time to explore how FL started realizing how life supposed to be. I love that a lot. it grounded her role and feels real!
I hope episode 6 gives the impression of a lot of reversal of reality, or at least Kang's revenge on Su Min and…

this isn’t really slow given we need time for FL to rebuild herself after being in abusive relationships for decades, and she needed to stay with the boyfriend and girl friend for them to match up (since events always happen but can change who took it)
