well, the wife was damn creepy this episode!! she is one crazy woman...and I still hate Dr Mo, sacrificing another…
I just know the show said the earlier experiments didn’t look for particular high IQ kids. it was the last one he decided to find someone already smart.
I watched two episodes and thought the writing was absolutely amazing yea it’s one of those main leads don’t die type of dramas but the script was pretty excellent why am I seeing people saying the writing isn’t good? did it get worst after 2 eps?
really loving it so far! ep1 might be “slow” but it was a very necessary episode to set the tone - who our ML and FL (kid) are. why would she trust a kidnapper that quickly? why did they build their bonds? ML is such a big hearted dad, so soft and loving, hence it would work in this dynamic. without the setup in ep1 I don’t think ep2 makes sense in an emotional level! then comes ep2 where the actions really started. so far the cops are doing what they should be doing and are competent! They aren’t just focusing on ML’s leads but all the leads too. I mean ML does look super suspicious from the evidences lol but from ep3 we can tell the cops are able to tell the kid trusts ML so something is sus.
LOVE the dynamic between ML and kid! they make a great combo and the slowly opening to each other is working very well. Looking forward to ep3!!
Finally a show not following the copy/paste patterns👍🏻I liked how the first ep seemed to focus on kyung…
I don’t hate the cops tho they are just chasing what makes the most sense up til now I think they are pretty competent! also they are sensing what’s not making sense w ML might not be the murderer too!
people saying don’t compare… well the thing is if it’s actually worst people are free to comment and have that kind of opinions too lol the remake is indeed way worst than the original. there are other remakes that hold its own place with changed plots too but this just isn’t one of those
I just want to remind everyone who are angry: - it’s been THREE years since the news where she thinks he’s dead - he has ALWAYS left her without telling her why. despite the reason, he never stayed proactively - she has a family of elders and babies to feed while being a head of household - this is 1600s where noble women have no place in society to live without getting married to a man
Yet again another Friday where I will torture myself trying not to look at spoilers 😭
me too!!!! 😭😭😭 still need 6 hours before Viu releases their Chinese subs how do I avoid spoilers until then!??? I already saw some spoilers just by scrolling on social media for 2 seconds lol
No problem, not every drama will be for everyone. Though I think you might be the first I've seen to call this…
Interesting a lot of the shows you liked I like too and My Dearest is one of the best. I would suggest trying to skip all of 1-3 and start watching ep4 to see if this is truly your taste or not. It’s fine if you don’t like it but many viewers who fell deep into this drama only started feeling this way after ep4 lol (as you can also see in ratings. After ep4 ended the ratings jumped 3.2 in ep5 lol)
But very very very real to the time. Back in the days those are real people that actually think this way. And basically the majority of them. That’s why I love this show. Characters that are unlikable - yes, but they are as real as it can be for the 1600s era.
I felt that the leading lady’s feeling for the 2nd LM to be genuine but it seems the 2nd lead couple both disagreed,…
I think 2nd lead couple are right. Gil Chae’s feelings were not really love. She likes the idea of Yeon Jun. A reputable scholar who is also a gentleman that is loyal to his woman. But like she said, she never actually feels sad when Yeon Jun likes Eun Ae. When Jeon Jun went to war, she looks in the mirror and she’s happy again. If it wasn’t Eun Ae, she didn’t even think about going to find Yeon Jun during war after knowing where he’s headed to. I mean, even Eun Ae mentioned it she still actually didn’t want to go. But look at her running so fast back to the intruders just because there’s a chance that Qing soldier could be Jang Hyun. Her instinct shows really clear what’s real love and feelings. What she “feels” about Yeon Jun is not love. More like an era of herself being beautifully glowing, an ideal life and husband that she grew up thinking she would marry.
because she scared and because he used to tell her about all the women he has and how he doesn't wanna marry and…
From what she said I think she meant she was never sad. Just like when she said when Yeon Jun volunteered to “enlist” she wasn’t that sad, just looking in mirrors she’s all good again. There were times in earlier episodes she wasn’t sad until eun ae was sad or until eun ae actively did something. She didn’t care to go find Yeon Jun if it wasn’t eun ae asking her to go near the war. Whereas she ran back to the intruders instinctively just thinking the man COULD be Jang hyun. I think Gil Chae meant she was never actually sad that Yeon Jun likes Eun Ae.
LOVE the dynamic between ML and kid! they make a great combo and the slowly opening to each other is working very well. Looking forward to ep3!!
