What makes her “annoying” to you now is exactly what makes her character so charming in ep4. Without the “annoying” traits now we won’t get the FL in ep4. I understand what you mean, but it’s all for a reason and a very good reason :) I would say stick with it, watch ep4, and if you still don’t like her after finishing ep4, then maybe her character is just not for you!

I have also seen Korean comments said, every single time she just tried to copy eun ae. “Everyone said eun ae is good at everything, I also have things that are better than her too!!” It’s almost as if she’s trying to prove she’s as good as her, as mature as her. Without knowing eun ae saw it through how big gilchae really is. A lot of the times she didn’t care much about Yeon jun instinctively she knew he might be close to the war but if it wasn’t eun ae saying to go help the wounded and be close with Yeon jun she still didn’t want to go. Verse she wasn’t sure if it was truly jang hyun she already ran back to the intruders. She does things for Yeon Jun because she THINKS it’s what mature and grown up romance/love should be but her heart only acts instinctively when it’s Jang hyun.

I am more so frustrated with the writer than the characters cos what they did make complete sense given then situation and writer should have created situations where GilChae has to know how much JangHyun did for her (without him saying it out himself) lol I have to think the writer has prepared that but for 2023 ep7-8 is a bit TOO LATE for most audiences to have that kind of patience lol Though the drama is so good and beautiful I know the writer did it on purpose I just wish she wouldn’t take this route for this romance part LOL other than that this drama is perfect - it’s still perfect but it’s making me frustratingly love it hahahaha

And she said the love she wished for is one’s that won’t change. Janghyun never let her have the right impression of him either lol he kept suggesting lips sex date and no strings attached and no marriage lol IN THE 1600S!!!!!

Yea I wish they could wait til after the Asian Games ended to start cos I am 100% sure the break in between is typically not the best for ratings. Especially there are other shows going to start and it will be in the middle of their show so it’s hard to take back those viewers. It’s not a OTT show. It 99.9999% will get affected. But let’s just hope the ending of ep10 is strong enough to bring people back lol
