I can’t believe people actually don’t like ep6 lol it was so necessary. And I can’t believe so many people think they still can’t talk about the reason why they broke up. It was actually very obvious already and the FL’s script “you just interrupted it the way you wanted saying because of money even I told you we are different” is sooooo to the point.
Maybe because I was in a similar situation as FL? The stress before graduation and must find a job yet the person who are in the same exact shoe as you are dreaming to go take a long break before graduating? And if I get mad it’s my fault because all he wanted to do is to make me happy? Lol geez I can just feel the stress from thinking about that. And it is because the two of them are very different people that’s why they broke up. Not because of money. If ML still thinks FL broke up with him because he’s poor, I will feel so pathetic too. Because that’s how you think of me? Yet, our differences made me the villain and you are the one got dumped and sad, as if it wasn’t a separation due to differences?
Idk I really understand FL and she is very likable in my book. Of coz ML is very nice to her, but he’s not “too good for her”. She worths every bit because of her passion and willingness to live and her talents.

I actually like it a lot. the middle was a bit slow but the ending picked up and some don’t like sad endings but it was actually written really well imo

I can help clarify: 1. Son hwan only knew Wolwoo was assaulted but he never knew who. He didn’t want to tell ilwoo at first because he always thought ilwoo didn’t care about Wolwoo. But with son hwan himself being assaulted ilwoo slowly realized what Wolwoo faced. 2. Son hwan only learned about who was the one who raped Wolwoo after he left the prison. He went to see the trial and only after the teacher mentioned he was the volunteer who visited Wolwoo every Sunday for him to realize it was that Santa. By that time he already left prison. 3. After ilwoo learned about wolwoo’s assault, he finally connected the dots that when Wolwoo hinted “Santa said he likes me” means that he was being raped. Then knowing the teacher went to their house every Sunday, remembering the costume in his office, and learning that the Sunday is Dec 24, the day Wolwoo dies, he finally connects all the dots that it was the teacher who raped Wolwoo. Ilwoo didn’t understand “Santa likes me” means he’s being raped (and the sound he made was due to the discomfort).
So, it wasn’t son hwan didn’t tell ilwoo all this time, it was because he also didn’t know it was the teacher back then. Second, ilwoo wasn’t acting solely based on a hunch, after he connects the dots it was certain but he also only acted that angry after the teacher confessed himself. Hope this helps lol
