I can absolutely understand it. While I do, I think it was a “selfish” move but it doesn’t make it wrong. she has every right to prioritize herself and her dream. It is the right decision, it is good for both of them, better she tells him earlier than later when it gets ugly and he will only be disappointed more and more. I do think still listening to ML’s streaming account, calling to say don’t worry about me, and then going to the station - that was a bit more selfish than I would like, but then, characters don’t need to be perfect, my only hope is that for the remaining episodes, she actually grows her love for him and learn to not give up the moment she’s exhausted in life (just like how she ran from SML too when things get hard). That would be a great character growth to develop!

Happy to agree to disagree, gotta leave my 2 cents tho. Just because they are more quiet doesn’t make them same character. Hosu and Taeseo are very different people. Hosu is insecure and reserved, Taeseo on the other hand will start a bike fight with eunah, not insecure, and way more proactive in relationships. he does not lose his hearing due to mental health, it’s temporary tinnitus after extreme stress and trauma and it was only temporary. two different things as one is actually deaf. The purpose for taeseo was just to show his stress and burden, not to say he has an chronic disability that drives his insecurities. characterizations in subtle acting shows you the roles in small ways.
and Kim minju’s acting is also very different than in the movie and in her last drama. She shined very well in ep1-2 especially as this is her first time acting as a lead who has major speaking roles and screen time. she conveyed eunah in such a convincing and lovable way.
Have to hard disagree on the acting opinions since both of them excelled in making taeseo and eunah authentic and real, actings served these two characters so well they got lots of praises. but to each of their owns. Plus, lots of personalities but director took his directive decision to show not tell. we are only in ep1-2, there’s quite enough depths shown so far and personally I can’t wait to see more in future episodes.
it’s a very specific kind of genre, slice of life isn’t for everyone but if you have enjoyed them before, this one is nothing like what was described because it’s meant to be pieces of moments that resonate with everyone’s life, not about the most exciting plot :)

the director has mentioned in the press con, the key point of the drama is it is something very common and happens with everyone’s normal life! it is exactly why it drawn him into the script, it’s how real the emotions feel and relatable so the plot isn’t the most exciting or new, but it’s the moments that will resonate with viewers 🥹
many fans like to drop 1 ratings from competitor dramas or antis of the leads. It's a known thing tho. They got a lot of ratings of 1 just to drive down the ratings on imdb too. that's why people say don't trust the ratings. read the reviews in the comment section would be better at least
The little couple is sooooo darn cute and silly 😭😭😭 I love them so much and love the realistic tone of the emotions director and actors portrayed. the cinematography is amazing this is why you appreciate non set filming!! filming with real locations is just absolutely beautiful
