Mirae and Sejin ended exactly how it should be. Mirae is not in a stage where she is ready for romance she’s healing and needing to find her own confidence and she was still in a SA case like for gods sake she needed this time before she is ready to jump into any relationship. the ending was perfect timing
the writer and directing is lacking a bit in pacing and overall flow. characters also really can just say some stuffs out and still maintain the overall plot so it’s not the best in execution but I probably will keep watching since it’s easy? FL is cute tho ML surprisingly don’t think he acted that well. I thought he acted decent in the two dramas I watched of him this year
he told her to go with her co-workers but she doesnt get along with them well and probably has no other friends…
he brought her to the restaurant because he needed to protect Miji’s lie about the owner is her aunt. he also isn’t going with “Mirae” to the wedding because he needed to keep the image of “not knowing Mirae is Miji” cos Miji doesn’t want him to know he knows already
I think tvN really have some beef with this drama like they haven't posted bts of this week and in past they merged…
I saw the news TVN literally said “we didn’t expect much from this show but the reviews turn out great” — also it’s a show that they worked with KBS team on so not sure if there are any politics there. it’s such a shame because the leads get so much chemistry. if they were promoted more and went to more shows, having magazine photos and such would be great. Now BH the actors agency is doing more work then TVN…
then who in this drama is not “self-absorbed”. everyone focuses on their own guilt and own feelings and all…
you posted your opinion in an open forum, it is an invitation for anyone to share their opinions back. I am not sure how you calling someone with a lot of traumas and insecurities “self-absorbed” isn’t triggering and yet you are now calling others reacting to your comment as “defensive”. Coming from someone who has families that needed hearing aids and saw how much they went through growing up, your calling Hosu self-centered was quite insensitive and that led to my response. Can’t be calling people “defensive” if your original comment was insensitive and triggering to begin with. So just because the story gave time to Miji and Mirae’s healing already, doesn’t mean by your definition, they weren’t “self-absorbed” before the “healing started” then?
i’ve noticed that hosu tends to make every issue about himself but not in a narcissistic way. it’s more like…
then who in this drama is not “self-absorbed”. everyone focuses on their own guilt and own feelings and all think they are the reasons why others make those choices. no one in this drama communicated yet I don’t know why it’s only hosu that get blamed
ep6 near the end. Gyeonggu was telling Mirae “miji knows of course, I was going to tell her anyway, but Hosu stared at me (implying to ensure he tells Miji)”
