Hi.5 is available online though. It’s on Viki or Apple TV. And he does these non slow projects too. Just because people didn’t watch them cos of availability doesn’t mean he didn’t do it. Plus his next drama after Shining is literally a period spy drama

well, in Yumi’s cells and OUS, really only these two shows are female centric. the Witch isn’t, and Shining is also not, he will not be underutilized and outshined (and he did not in The Witch). Letting female characters shine in their dramas isn’t “outshined” because you don’t want to take their spotlights but he did very well in his part. Can’t say for Babi because that character was underwritten and developed but his character in OUS is very well written.

The Witch is barely a romance drama though. And he does Christmas Carol (twins + mentally challenged brother) and Hi.5 (cult leader). 100 Days of Lies is a period spy drama.
Fuckass Korea with the shortening of episodes. The screenwriters are getting lazier. There is no thing called…
I much rather they don’t drag a show if the story really didn’t need that many episodes. I saw so many dramas being ruined with 16 episodes because they really didn’t need to. and a lot of the past dramas that are 16 actually was dragging to the end unnecessarily. I just hope with stories that actually need longer episodes they make them 16. to be honest I think Still Shining sounds like a story that 10 ep would do well. plus the writer’s past work was blamed for pacing too slowly, maybe she’s just trying to improve herself
even acknowledging a GENOCIDAL state is bad enough.... but I won't say anything, Kpop fans have no morals... they…
gosh, you all just like to pretend performative socialism yet claim to have “morals” sorry people who actually have morals like me, would do actual things that can help and not police around misinformation and celebrities that clearly did not mean it if you use your brain to actually think about the situation and circumstances. I urge you to actually know what happened and use your common sense to think for a second
so far their performances as each other are more well done in this than in Moon River. I feel like they got the…
I hate body swap tropes in any media whichever country it is, this is the first time I actually think it worked very well and aid the story but in ways that only bodyswapping can do. for them to understand each others positions truly, and to hear things only if you became that person would hear since just “seeing” isn’t enough. also it helps to keep them as characters because truthfully they are such mature and considerate people they would never say it themselves.
I some glad that you mentioned about the body swap being totally unnecessary cuz I feel the same way, but it is…
actually thought opposite of it for once!! bodyswapping in this drama is probably the only time it works in favor of the story I feel. first time around letting them truly see and understand each other’s hardships
wow the only time I actually am excited for second soul switch I need FL to physically feel how much the wound hurts that’s juicy heehee also probably she’s the only one who can figure out the incense!!!
also writer THANK YOU for making SML SFL only as people to make it more dynamic but NOT to withhold truth or to block ML FL development and letting ML be the one who is tied closely with FL not SML THANK YOU this is such a good showwwwwww Nam jihyun you did it again picking amazing scriptssss
omg where did you get this info that's so horrible man I really like him and don't want this to be true
just say your performative activism enjoys witch hunting on celebrities that literally did not mean any of what you are fabricating and then calling anyone with rationale and critical thinking skills to judge and evaluate situations with common sense “defending your oppa”. focus on the real cause and find someone else to defame instead.
Episode 5 showed exactly why actors like Moon Sangmin and Nam Jihyun were needed as the ML and FL. Flower Boy…
I think quite the opposite actually. FL actually wasn’t that feminine before and the acting kinda erased what FL’s unique character a little, just like ML isn’t all that serious and masculine in his own body. the acting was a bit forceful in making him masculine. but nevertheless I always loved Nam Jihyun’s acting so while this one isn’t that great IMHO at the very minimum the scriptwriting definitely makes up for it
probably the ONLY time I actually am anticipating the body swap and think it’s actually useful and going to help them in understanding each others situations and will tie them together instead of missing out on each other
hosu park jin young appreciation comment because I saw some non sense down here. I hope people start knowing actors serve their characters and some actors like Jin young are the type that become the character and make Hosu believable as a person. if the character is awkward, you become awkward. you understand Hosu is a well written character because he made it believable and showed through all the nuances and personality, he made you understand Hosu. Jin young added so much details to how Hosu walks, put down folks with two hands, nerdy but kind, when he’s sick, when he’s soft with miji and miji only. so many other actors could have just turned Hosu into this typical cold face guy. Hosu is so much more nuanced because of jinyoung. not all great actings call for loud and superficial ways of presentation.
Sadly have to admit this is true. I love GOT7 Jinyoung, but his acting has left me skipping most of his works…
It’s funny how suddenly these “so called unbiased” people appear to trash his acting when everyone loved his acting before lol the objectives and motives behind is clear as sky lol
He’s still a bit stiff, but to be fair, he’s improved a lot. I think he keeps getting cast because he brings…
pretty stiff sometimes and like when lol don’t tell me it’s like in our unwritten seoul or yumi’s cells like the other commenter said lol my comment is directed to exactly those who thinks his Babi and Lee Hosu is stiff because those characters have the most nuanced acting for that two characters and he was praised a LOT for those roles in really excellent slice of life actings. there’s many cringe and over-acting people out there I get how some just cannot differentiate stiff vs realistic subtle facial expressions cos somehow people think a real life introvert and naturally cool character would have these frantic all-over-the-place facial expressions.
The only ones that come to mind is Moving and A Shop for Killers. The movie High-FIve is more supernatural but…
salon de Holmes will be a good fun and easy one! similar setting but not as robust background as Yoon Kye-sang here of course but still very smart FL and useful team lol
Unpopular opinion: I tried to watch the drama but since the body swap, it has become completely ridiculous, it’s…
I have been skipping since the body swap lol just watching recap videos, waiting for it to swap back then I will resume watching the full episode. really don’t like it at all

oh just saw you watched already
