She had a clearly obsessive abusive problematic ex boyfriend, who: threatened her with photos attempt to rape her attempt to kill her. In the end of their storyline-outside the mobile shop-she even gave him her hand to say goodbye. That's all someone needs to know about the scenario.
Finished episode 7, already skipping unnecessary office drama. While I love slow-paced dramas but STITR made me…
Korean dramalang had also its golden times back in late 90s and for the next 15 years or so. Very beautifully done dramas. (im also a fan of jap classics and even newer ones)
Kdrama's bulls@t genre on this one! A perfect over the top cute brave loving caring protective ML and a FL...ehm...i better not say anything. Such a great chemistry on a perfect casting for the main leads with such a boring, nonsense story. Why do they need to portrait a FL with so many flaws and the ML so perfect, to make a drama work? There's no balance, a FL who is acting like a moron and her constant self justification is: "sorry i didnt mean it" and a ML ready to convince an audience that...he exists! pf waste of time.
At first i was like "meh", but then i even dropped lovely runner (though i ve finished it). The main differences are: in LR, there is more let's say "beauty" and romance focus. In this one, there are also very interesting gray zoned characters and the relationships between the "good" and the "bad" ones are also twisted in a very unique way. The time travel in this one is getting confusing but ok, those who watch time travel stories often, we tend to leave aside the logic and just enjoy the ride. This one also has very unique camera work and color palette plus not exaggerated skin smoothing filters.
Fr. & The reason some Korean viewers gave for not liking TW version are:- actors/actresses are ugly, cheap cinematography…
With all these smoothing-bright light filters they use in mainland chinese and korean dramas, people tend to forget how ACTUAL human beings look like! We have other face features except nostriles which are the only thing shown when over filtered hahahahhahh
Strong story with a great background narrative about creation and the end of everything. Of course, in the familiar taiwanese amateur-ish way of cinematography, sp effects, crazy montage and editing and the usual cult elements but ok we love it for what it is. ML is a bit weak in acting-i hope he get better as the story goes on (im still on ep4) Edit: i binged the whole thing. Very strong story-i didnt expect any less by the scriptwriter of Someday or one day BUT the main couple, was weak beyong words. They felt flat at first, i said ok we ve got way to go, but even when the plot demands for a love crescendo of a supposed-to be-an-epic love- they failed dramatically. Their angles through shooting didnt help them-though i doubt they could look better with better directing. Their eyes were empty while looking at each other, their lines were cold to the point i was wondering: "who lost his/her memory again?". Inevitably one compares other couples of immortal-human (Esp an immortal who is there while the human is growing up-which gives extra dramatical moments and depth to the relationship). So if you have Goblin in mind, forget about it. The story here is so much more complicated and more interesting than Goblin, but the couple is too weak.
The ML , i dont know if he is so dump and just wantes to be hero and cant think properly. But, it can also be…
His change of heart from 100% cold and suspicious to wanting desperately to go back and save her was too abrupt and made no sense at all. I agree, he must be out of his mind to make a life change after so many years of depression just for the sake of his ability to come back.
I wouldn't say he is a top actor, but he is doing good enough job, and imo has chemistry with FL, who is a very…
Im currently in ep 6 and he has indeed improved so much since i ve watched him in guminho roomate. He is the only reason i was hesitating to start the Atypical family but he 's ok. I didnt want to miss this drama cause i really liked the premise and the elements
i know you can not classify this as pedo,i mention it give vibe like that not pedo drama but i got vibeuncle grooming…
The number of medical ethics violations in this drama is not even countable! It could easily be a parody of medical dramas. Ive never watched such a ridiculous story. Even the romance -even if someone somewhere in the galaxy was ok with it-was laughable. "Platonic" cheesy garbage i 'd call it. As for the violations...confronting patients in public, following patients outside during a psychotic delusional episode, giving a patient to another doctor and then take her back again and then back to the other doctor oh god it was awful. The FL despite her problems did the best when she decided to even change clinic away from all of them. As for the ML, ok he fell for her-he's a human after all, but how did he handle it? HE CONTINUED being her doctor and there's nothing that can justify this cr@p!
The chemistry has nothing to do with the looks or the age gap. Its totally on the script, the direction, the actors. The drama was disturbing-if not a parody about medical health-for a large number of reasons. The romance was totally uneccessary -at least.
There's no pedo when we re talking about adults. Age gaps are not illegal. The drama was disturbing for a huge number of reasons concerning medical ethics but not pedo and the things you mentioned.
I had to stop watching this one. I'm a mental health counselor and I just couldn't suspend my disbelief this far.…
I can get that he fell for her-he is a human being. But he should quit at the exact moment he realised it. Not to mention his friend's role (the lady), who "gives him her patient so he can get over his ptsd" WHAT? He and his friend, are using the girl as if she was a toy!
Im laughing so hard cause up to now (im on ep 7, there's only one patient (the first one) who was actually cured.…
Even if i accept the fact that he fell for his patient-which is ok-he is a human being after all-WHY THE HECK DIDNT HE quit being her doctor? Not to mention the role of his friend, who abandons her patient and gives her to him without letting him know about her real condition. What kind of doctor does such a thing? They literally play with her vulnerability-there's no doctor in the planet who 'd do such a thing. If he has ptsd, he should be treated professionally, not using HIS PATIENTS for healing himself! for god's saki who wrote that script? Ive watched so many dramas about mental helath, but this one really if to laugh at!
threatened her with photos
attempt to rape her
attempt to kill her.
In the end of their storyline-outside the mobile shop-she even gave him her hand to say goodbye.
