Im like that right now lol, though i ve started with a hard one: Moon indigo and all the sequels "novelist" etc. But ok, its not considered as pure bl in terms of lighthearted (for those who define it that way), its a bit mature, for older ages etc. For now, i ll start picking some of your list as a newbie!

oh thats very useful for my search! It may be the same period of my fav kdramas as well! Thank you thank you thank you! (i ve noticed that the new thai ones are a bit...only for eye candy-which is fine if you re into it-or high school/uni teens and im really getting sooo bored with that stuff! I've found 1-2 really good ones not focused on the BL theme, just happened to be bls. I ll visit you again for updates! much love!
you mean the "disgusting and triggering topics of SA etc" which is very much a part of reality is "disturbing"…
Well. There s always teletubbies to watch for those who cant handle reality depicted in any art form Whats that new age- triggered at everything- creatures? What happened to humans? Did they mentally move to a pinky delulu land where only "green flag"people exist ?
The best commercial trash of all trash ever made! Watch it for the non existing acting, directing, For the non existing bdsm and FOR THE PRODUCTS PLACEMENT im so guilty of having so much fun while watching this thing !!!
How has she treated them like rubbish, though? The CFO is overworked and taking up the roles of a secretary, yes...…
"Her coffee in a special way is also for comfort". She can always make it herself or ask in a polite way for it. We are in 2024. She can also order it online. I dont see any reason to justify an abusive boss. I can watch a drama admitting at the same time, that hero(es) are shitty
People cursing an actor cause he dared to turn down a marriage proposal by a,...FAN lol using the excuse of age gap (i mean what should he say to a crazy fan who... proposes) Ant nobody suggests that a person who proposes marriage to an actor in dms should get professional help This world is crazy indeed
Hi, I was really hoping this would have some .... romance in it but I guess wrong again. on episode 9 and I'm…
One of the main reasons i ve started some good quality bls . Never disappoint on that aspect Though there are exceptions in both kdramas and chinese ones with plenty of romance
What do you mean by "decent"?Unfortunately, like in many romance dramas, a kiss happens, then ML and FL are a…
I meant somehow appropriate for 2 lovers separated for so many years with so much trauma etc but ok i expected what you said.... Not that exciting is what i also thought it would be since the beginning Thanks!
Hate me but the screen writer also wasted time with the older version main leads. The youngers stole the show since ep 1. And to think that im not at all into teens romance. But those 2 kids were soooo good in acting and characterwise
I think it's to give a room for her character to grow. I know her behaviour is toxic tho, it's hard to watch,…
Yeap, a cold and distant behavior would be much more appropriate from a character so lonely and traumatized plus a girl who grew up without parents Im very concerned about how they will make her handle the whole thing. Reason is, i didnt like that a woman in her 40s or a bit younger, is not just having that (of course horrible and hard to deal) father loss trauma in such an early age, but she formed the belief that he abandoned her. I mean, when you re a kid, you blame your dead parent for abandoning you, but then the anger is not there, when you grow up you still have (if you have) the loss trauma but not anger. Its not realistic if they go down that way ..."my dad abandoned me cause he threw himself in a fire" wtf I d like to see a grown up woman who deals with her early age loss of her only parent and against all odds she managed to succeed in her work, be competitive etc but not a childish "angry to dad cause he...died" Kdrama writers of that genre often write as if their audience is about 10 yo or so. Well, if thats also the case here, at least i hope they ll give us some decent intimate scenes and a good romance, cause if i have to throw my logic out of the window, i need a good reason hahahahah

Yeap i know. She's not the first toxic and totally abusive boss we ve ever seen in dramas (and sadly in real life too). I just wanted to point out the kdrama obsession with shitty bosses who are justified by their trauma or whatever And to my defense, im always in for really bad character hahahhaahha i just never justify them, no matter their character growth or else. I dive into the story and thats all. But i find people with power and authority in working environments, who treat their co workers or subordinates in a harsh and abusive way, really shitty ones cause they re taking advantage of other people's need to survive. Its just so opposite to my morals -and i think for most people out there is the same.
How has she treated them like rubbish, though? The CFO is overworked and taking up the roles of a secretary, yes...…
The list of the things she wants to be her way, is already long: from the papers she wants in certain angle and her coffee temperature from a certain coffee shop (your co workers or secretaries are not your servants to begin with) to her behavior. Our personal ocds and whatever whims we got, have no place in our working environment cause they make others lives difficult. Its just that in South Korea and so many other places in the world, being an as@ as a boss, is the rule with a few exceptions. Overworked? Its her choice. No worker is obliged to overwork himself without being paid equally. People should work only for thei time they are paid and thats a working right that humanity gained through many bloody fights through history. We just justify everything cause we re just watching a drama-of course i know that that's why im enjoying every drama without being triggered. But these behaviors are not justified by any trauma or anything in general.
as for her co workers, the first reaction to the new secretary was: RUN. well, people dont rebel in their working environment, at least not openly, because workers all over the world NEED their job, plus, in South Korea, to keep your job is even harder than finding one.
Now, if we re talking about the drama itself: if the writers want to justify her behavior in a really mature way (which rarely happens in kdramas lets face it) the excuse of the dad being killed in a fire where he threw himself (obviously to save someone) its not an excuse that can be digested from a mature audience. Of course its a huge trauma to lose your only parent in such an early age and in such a horrible situation, but to be mad at him because he left you ...its something that only a kid would think and even without psychotherapy, when you grow up you know that is not the case. You just have to work on your loss trauma not with some kind of anger as they want to present here. I really hope they wont go down that road and give a really realistic depiction of her character
I like it so far but i cant help noticing another ceo (no matter the gender, people with power are...people with power ) treating her co workers like trash. Yeap i know its a drama, just wanted to point that out Workplaces are hell in capitalism Ok ok i shut my big mouth up lol
Ok there 's a HUGE mistake in early episodesread the following comment under spoiler
While we re watching the first story version, where the ML goes back and makes the right choice, Tonkla's brother is alive-we see him at the hospital waking up and being asked things by the surgeon In the same version, we watch his brother going to identify his corpse, mourning him etc. This is a major mistake, confusing everyone even after finishing the whole thing
