Is it me or it is getting more and more ridiculous lol! Still I am quite enjoying this series!
Ep 7 =total waste. 45' watching po@p cleaning and main couple trying to make us throw up with any possible way. I hope it gets better, but there are only 4 ep more to go, so i doubt!
Episode 13 now, and they keep calling me single in all too many ways😠Gosh this gotta be the most affectionate…
Oh and another thing: I ve noticed that the lovey dovey cute scenes, are mostly performed in a kind of ironic way, as if they dont mean it, or they want to achieve something else, or because thats the usual way others express their love. I feel that they do it on purpose-i mean the script may want to convey that message, that love expressions of adults are far more aggressive, witty, instictive and harsh than pinky bubbly candies all over the place. I loved that!
THEY ARE THE CUTEST MARRIED KDRAMA COUPLE I AM SCREAMING AAAAAAH. (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) ~(˘▾˘~) (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)No,…
At first i was like: wth is goin on!I almost hated them both! But luckily i didnt drop it. Now on ep 9 and i love how they uncover themselves gradually, being like real humans are, with so many flaws, so many mistakes, insecurities, cause thats whats life is all about. I just love the way the script unvails their characters through the relationship. And for the intimacy part: the only Kdrama ive watched where people were hugging and kissing each other like in real life was suspicious partner. Literally in almost EVERY Kdrama with a few exceptions (and most of the Cdramas as well) they touch each other as if they re made of glass-so fake so cold so not real! Here it goes further than that, cause they dare to speak about taboo things-at least for Kdramas- openly: sexual orientation, fetishes, jokes about lust (That hoola hoop around her waist, joke she made that night-i broke into laughter), and all the above are so hard to find in Kdramas where love is depicted in a very pretentious and "naive" way as if we have to do with teens. As for the story, ok as every sci-fi-supernatural story, has really many inconsistencies and things that dont make sense but the heck! who cares since the whole thing is satisfying. Glad you think the same-so im running to check your reccomendations -hehe!
this is such… an unbearably boring drama. ML has the flattest facial expressions ever, he doesn’t have any…
My exact thoughts! Now on ep 8 and i think i ll pass. I have watched CDramas & KDramas way longer in episodes and but ive never experienced such boredom! I knew i 'd drop this one since ep2 with the po@p scene. It was gross and unnecessary esp for a rom com. ML has 2 expressions: the "serious-i ve lived 1000 years-and-still creepy-as-hell" and the "smiling tenderly to show you im falling for her" one. I even dislike the FL character, though i have a soft spot for people who get bullied over their appearance/behavior. I cant see any reason for that 8.4 rating really!
I have read a lot of comments regarding the ML facial expressions. But I think there is a reason for that. In…
Maybe its the overall directing and character building from the original script. Lee Dong Wook was a gumiho in Tale of the nine tailed, but his performance was great so full of expressions and emotions-and it was his first worth mentioning performance. Here, ML lead's expressions were...2, the creepy-serious one and the smiling-affectionate kind of one. He was the main reason for which im considering droping the whole drama

I sincerely apologize to you. I thought i was answering to rtfirefly who wrote that in the first place. But my opinion remains the same about the meaning of her/his post. I just get triggered when in times of grief, people talk about a person who committed suicide as if he/she did a sin. I just dont get it and i find it very cruel and disrespectufl towards a person's memory.
I enjoy this drama so much but that music... i have to mute the whole thing most of the time! Its so inaccurate, so out of place, so boring! I mean, worse than a commercial music spot! And that song that goes like: "oh my love, im all yours"...really now??? There was the most dramatic scene up to now, and we have to hear this thing in the backround, huge failure!Too bad for such an entertaining show!
i saw some comments on another forum stating that they thought this drama should be rated r due to the frequency…
Thanks for the explanation! Can i ask you, when we read the translation (from Korean to eng): e.g dialogue between 2, -Give me the money! -Money, my as@ is there any similar curse in english? Or at least a way of speech close enough? I thought maybe is something like: damn in english but im not sure, unless its unaccurate tranlslation. Its a very common line, i ve seen it in almost every Korean drama/movie
"I believe God loves me so he won't send me to hell."This is the saddest line of the whole letter. The sad belief…
Clarity of her ....error???? A young person put an end to her life and the holy "christianity of love and bla bla bla" says this thing? I think its true what's said, that religious people are the cruelest of the human beings. May her soul finds peace.
Almost 10 eps in and i feel like minus 1500 sympathy for the brother. Like he was a cute kid but he grew up a…
Brother is a narcissistic as@ . I cringed ALOT by his behavior as if he was in love (gross) with his brother. He even hated him more than his mother who abandoned him at the first place, throwing tantrums and murdering people just for fun
I totally agree. They were both good in other dramas (separately) in terms of chemistry with their partner, but…
Is it true what you said about Korean people showing love in public? I mean i know nothing abouth their social rules, im from Greece and things here are exactly the opposite (same as everythwere here in southern Europe). We are very expressive indoors and outoors hehe! But i ve noticed that even in Korean movies where things are more free in terms of restrictions -they still are a bit-dont know how to say it, a bit introverted. Ok love is the same everywhere, but the way we express it differs around the world
I love, love, love Hyun Bin, and I'm sooo happy that this series blew up so much. I also loved Son Ye Jin in Something…
I totally agree. They were both good in other dramas (separately) in terms of chemistry with their partner, but in CLOY there was nothing there. I ve seen that happening in most of real life couples when they are on screen:they feel awkward and they hardly give a strong vibe of attraction to each other.Sadly on screen chemistry has nothing to do with real life one. Ive also seen couples with great on screen chemistry, the ML being gay in real life, still giving a glorious couple vibe with his partner, or in a BL drama, with both ML straight in real life, having beautiful on screen chemistry as a gay couple. On screen chemistry has to do with acting skills, with direction, and mostly with another "mysterious" way of communication between 2 partners-strictly professionally and maybe a bit undercover flirting that exists only when they re "in character". I finished CLOY, i was ok with all the plotholes etc, but i was dissapointed with the couple cause its a love story with too many obstacles, They should be seen as longing for each other, having that tremendous need to be one next to another, but there was nothing there
Yes, it's a love story. Continue to watch. It is a very touching love story where the ML will do whatever it takes…
yeap i fianlly finished watching. i liked the story but somehow i didnt like couple's chemistry and their acting- probably its just personal pov. But i enjoyed it over all, mostly because of the whole cast performance. Looks like this drama brought them good luck! Wish them the best!
Can somebody, really, truly, sincerely, answer me to a very plain simple question: was this a love story???? Really???? At first i was excited, i said:omg finally real adult actors, both of them over 35yo, im gonna see a mature romantic comedy. Now on ep 10 and i only see repetitive goodbyes, a man who doesnt look like a man in love, but someone who just wants to protect a woman because of his brother's death trauma where he couldnt save him! REALLY? Im so dissapointed! And whats the point of showing almost every other character like a ridiculous figure (almost every woman besides the FL and 2ndFML, are shown as if Tim Burton created them-in a very bad way.And i love Tim Burton! Anyone who agrees with my points, you re welcome!
I don't know why some of you are convinced that this could be a prequel when that's impossible and absolutely…
Right. I also read in an article that the production team cant reveal if Jung So Min will be in AOS2,cause if they include her or deny her appearance in s2, it would be a major spoiler. So i guess its just a logical marketing way to keep the spirits high. One way or another, soon we ll find out. I hope they wont leave any plot holes cause the story has too many complicated elements. My only insecurity is about s2 FL performance since i havent watched her in any previous works, plus i loved JsM as an actress
