You encapsulate the story very well. He is saving the company from those self-serving people who clearly never built nor were battle tested to take the reins. They don't even reach their father's ankles in terms of vision. It is obvious why he was sent back as JDJ; he was someone who actually genuinely cared about the company and clearly admired the founder's business acumen.
