I am so proud of this didi for standing up for herself and politely pushing back on Ji Young's passive aggresive BS. And Yeo-reum has basically adopted Bom, their relationship is so sweet. This ML is also another cinnamon roll, I like how he quietly helps people. Both leads are just good people & we love to see it. The way that Yeo-reum was willing to spend those $10,000 for Bom's surgery... And I suspect Dae-bum sacrificed his refuge to pay for it.
The problem is, everyone else in the village sucks. Do any of them really like each other? It's kinda messed up the grandma & brother basically guilt tripped Bom into not getting her borderline murderous father arrested. And why is the landlord blaming a single woman for being harassed & trying to make her leave?
But noone makes my blood boil like Ji-Young. It's fine that she wants to leave the town, but she just can't respect Dae-bum's wishes. She likes him and wants to take him along with her to Seoul, that's why she keeps pressuring him. And the gauche ways she tries to separate Dae-bum and Yeo-reum. Eww. The preview for next week already got me more mad lol.
My theory about the professor and why he's so doggedly after ML is that the prof taught the dead Noona as well and so wants him to take her place.
we love to see this Didi standing up for herself. I loved seeing her very politely and subtly holding her ground & giving that Ji Young a proper response.
Head empty, no thoughts but Tae-hee and Dong-joo kiss!!!! Our ship is finally sailing!!
also did they just yeet Chung-ha from the drama?!! I’m not complaining but it felt so abrupt. in all fairness, I think she’ll come back in super dramatic and cause headaches for everyone, I’ve watched enough kdramas to know that by now.
can we get a F for our fallen soldier, Seo Hae-in? Like 60% sure mans was involved in something sketchy af, but that was brutal. at least Dongjoo was polite and gave an actual legit reason unlike Tae-hee
I know because this is kdramaland and we love our leads we can't help but be annoyed at the exes and be mad at…
while I can understand her feelings and sympathize for her, there's a line somewhere. tae-hee was cruel to her in the way he ended things and negligent in how he communicated - or lack thereof - but he clearly said no. it's his right to end the relationship when it makes him unhappy and feel pain & guilt. it's up to her to understand his no and respect his wishes ...
Even though I enjoy watching DJ and TH as a couple, I can't help but feeling that TH has absolutely no good reason…
this man lost his kid brother in a horrific accident. mental health issues are never chosen to be suffered by someone; stuff like grief and trauma just happen to someone in those circumstances. does it hurt to be the ex gf, to be cut off like that? yes, I do feel sympathy for her in that regard, I would probably feel the same in her situation. but Tae-hee has a lot of issues to work through and it is his right to break off the relationship if he wants to, no matter how long they dated. it's up to CH to respect his wishes and hear him saying no.
