Listen, this probably is not a forum for political discussion, but the police, most law-enforcement agencies and other instruments of the state are tools of the ruling elite to brutalize marginalized communities and keep workers and farmers in thraldom. Which is not even to discuss the militarization and corruption inherent in policing... Let's just keep it at that.

That's true, if one read the genre, you'd see this is a rom-com first and foremost. But based on the summary, song, tags, posters, etc. one would expect a twisted makjang lol

Yeah based on the trailer (just listen to that fun song!) and the plot, I knew it was going to be a fun cheesy…
I don't think the OST has that much of a light vibe... or maybe on it the surface it seems bright and peppy, but there seems to be a darker undercurrent to it and the MV def gives it a very Gothic vibe, at least imo

I had the exact opposite experience. I found the first half of Todome to be amazing and exciting while the latter half got too complicated imo. However, I still loved every sec of Todome; I think it's a masterpiece. I agree, this drama also has a potential to be great, I just hope they keep introducing new plot elements and stop being repetitive as the first fews eps. have been.
