Probably the most disappointing romcom (edit: romance drama, there is no comedy) I’ve ever seen. Not sure what…
such a rude thing to say about a large category of actresses and dramas. Idk what you've watched and with who, but please do not make such inaccurate generalizations. There are many Japanese actresses who amazing at their jobs, on par or even beyond their Korean or Chinese counterparts.
This movie was absolutely amazing and might be one of my fav Japanese movies so far... So much more than the rather dry synopsis promised. Dark but with lots of light and very touching romance and a heartwarming ending. Everyone's acting was amazing. I can't wait for the DVD to come out so I can watch it again. 9.5/10.

Why can't Japan ever have a movie with a completely happy ending? But still, Kiyosumi died doing what he always wanted to - saving Hari and saving lives. I just wish he and Hari got a chance to be a family and raise their son together T-T I was almost crying when Kiyosumi wrote to his son about he'll always be around and love him...
Bruh it's on dramacool..even I have the app but I was not able to resist ..I watched few snippets on iqiyi YouTube…
Yes I'm really tempted to watch on dramacool cause I can't wait... But I want to support the drama's actors and crew by watching it on the official site... Such a struggle lol XD
30 minutes in and I'm loving this movie. The male lead is so sweet and kind to her, even if he's doing out of his own reasons. I hope this has a happy ending!
Two Aiko and Karibe kisses in the span of two episodes?? Them building a relationship best suited for them together?? Amazing. Cute. They're honestly a surprisingly adorable couple and I hope we get more sweet scenes in the two (?) episodes we have left. Also, I feel like they're too young to have a love line but I hope everything goes well for Ren as well.
I hate it when people like Yuna say they didn't know their actions would have such harmful consequences for someone else. You will never know what matters to other people and how much. It's messed up to do something so bad and come up with such a lame excuse. I respect the fact that ex boyfriend at least had to decency come clean and apologize to both Aiko and Karibe (interesting that Yuna didn't bother to say sorry to the person she hurt the most for no reason).
Okay, so I love the line up and I love historical content, esp. about WW2. However, considering what Japan was up to during that war, this plot might be extremely dark and uncomfortable. I'll have to see if I'll be able to bear it. Regardless, I'm glad that at least some in the Japanese media are willing to confront the horrible crimes committed by their country during the war.
