Choi Hee-jin has to be one of the cutest characters in kdrama history and Yoo In-na was so adorable playing her, her performance will live in my head rent free. The chemistry between the two leads was so intense, no wonder they even dated afterwards. The comedy was on point too. I just felt like the writers made the story too complicated and placed obstacles in front of the couple just for the sake of it. But anyways, I really enjoyed this drama, I see why this is a classic.
I was so happy when Karibe finally kissed her and I thought they would be a couple but I'm now scared what's going to happen to this couple bc of the previews...
This movie was a mess but a pleasant one I guess. I enjoyed the dark humour and action sequences but all the unnecessary gore and fighting scenes amongst characters we barely know anything about got boring after a while.
This was Konishi Sakurako's first role? No wonder she's getting so many main roles in dramas and movies just two years after this, her acting was great in this.
It was a cute sweet movie but imo definitely didn't need the romance. In fact, the romance was rather bland and…
Honestly, I disagree. I felt like they had a lot of chemistry and their romance took the friends to lovers route. Also, you could tell there was an undercurrent of romantic tension/interest from practically the moment he walked into the club room lol. So not only did that moment not surprise me, I found it really cute.
I can't believe that was Nagano Mei, she looked like a different person lmao. Also, while actors are free to choose their roles as they like, imo this kinda villainous roles don't really suit her.
I enjoyed this movie so much! It was not a masterpiece but it was so damn fun, with lots of comedy and inspirational messages ... And I usually don't even watch sports movies. I can see why Aragaki Yui is so much popular, she was so cute and adorable in this movie and her acting was great too! Her chemistry with Eita was no joke either. 8.5/10 from me.
I feel like it's kinda selfish of Tamako to suddenly decided to leave with Ejima and effectively disband the team. And it was all bc she was jealous that Hagi was going to get back with his wife and daughter. While Hagi *was* wishy washy about whether he'd go to the tournament or the interview, the rest of the club still really wanted to participate in the tournament after that hard work and training...
This felt like reading a dark, verbose, overwrought 18th century German novel: tiring, bleak, very dramatic and angsty, hard work to finish. This drama was very slow paced imo and a bit of challenge to finish so I'm glad it was only 4 eps. I liked the acting of everyone and also the character development the leads went through but that was about it.
I like German history, language and culture and I'm getting into everything Japanese because of the dramas and movies so this felt like a confluence of my interests so that was cool as well.
On dramacool it’s available in English subtitles Thanks for the compliment
Please don't recommend sites like drama cool or kissasian, they steal from hardworking fansubbers without whom we would not even get English translations. Especially, in this case, where CitrineSubs has a site that you can go to and get the hardcoded subs.
Tei-chan is so cute omg she's too adorable. The father daughter dynamics are so sweet too? Also this little girl…
I liked the special but I don't like how they handled the abusive mother. I know it must be hard to be a single mother in those circumstances but nothing justifies beating your child so brutally. They should have called the police or CPS...
This special was such a mess but in a good way. Funny, wacky and at times surprising deep about parenthood and family, I really enjoyed this. Can't wait to see the drama as well.
