Is it me or are the dance movies very dad-like? Idk how else to put it XD which is funny and cute to me because Karino is gradually becoming a father figure to Kotaro

Well, I've seen that affection and intimacy in Jdramas is usually just hugs or oddly long amounts of dramatic staring or hand holding. I think that speaks to the culture, which seems to be very conservative and restrained and where open, public intimacy or affection would be not encouraged. This doesn't seem amiss to me because as a South Asian, that's very similar to my own culture and country XD

That being said, some Japanese dramas and movies go too much in the direction of showing intimacy, and they're always... Interesting to say the least.

But like... what's the plot? What are all those volumes and episodes gonna be about XD

Imo, jdramas are more enjoyable because they're very strong in the writing, acting and depth department more than kisses, skinship or budget. it's all about give and take XD

How is this 10 episodes? How are they gonna make 10 episodes when there's 0% plot and each episode is basically just a kiss compilation? I legit thought that there was only going to be 8 episodes and even that would be like butter spread on too much bread XD

So we're getting season 2, right? bc we absolutely need one. Whats up with the girl they suddenly introduced at the end? she came out of nowhere! I feel like Geu-ru is going to fall in love with her; not sure how Na-mu is going to take this...

One of the best kdramas and definitely the best kdrama I have seen so far in this year. Everything in this drama was absolutely perfect, with never a dull moment. Everyone acted amazingly and Sang-su's redemption arc was beautiful to behold - special props to the ML for his acting as a neurodivergent kid. I honestly liked this drama more than Navillera. Can't wait for Season 2.

I'll be honest: I don't really like this kind of Japanese cringe comedy at all. Plus, personally, I find the romance between the leads super frustrating and annoying - I straight up ship Yowaki with Amari and Takamine with Sawada more than the actual couples. Still, there's something that draws me to this drama each week XD

Right? I used to dislike, but I kinda ship her with Yowaki more than the main lead.

This might be one of my favourite dramas this season if not year. Each episode is sweeter and more heartwarming than the next and we can see the residents becoming a family each time. Kotaro is so cute and my heart breaks for him - no child should blame themselves for abuse and it hurts to see how much his father has affected his pysche. Also, I guess from the preview that next ep we're gonna see Mizuki's abusive ex?
I kinda wanna see Mizuki and Karino become a couple and just adopt Kotaro <3 that'll be a great end to this drama
