Honestly, I've kept this drama on hold because it was getting too unpleasant for me. Is she still, or I should say, are they both so mean and cruel to each other? Idk, I don't think the romance could work after all she did to him, backstory or no. Is this worth seeing for the romance?
How can you be a woman who climbed up the ranks of a corporation catering to moms... and look down on working moms and call them losers? You can't be talking like that chaebol lady ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
This poor man is going through it... Bad enough he has to see the married woman he loves everyday but now he has to see her husband at work too?? So cruel.
the first few episodes were so good and the last EP was enjoyable. everything else was mid. I wish they had spent more time on the second couple, who had potential and were cute together. I adored the main leads too, but there was no organic, gradual romance here - just the usual childhood first love thing imo. everyone in this cast deserved a better script.
Kdramas are crazy, bc wdym a single random unemployed incel manage to organize a press conference - including renting a large venue - AND get the entire press to show up? Like, what?
Meri and Good Wooju were super cute in ep. 9, I love their relationship. I wish he was able to introduce her to his family, before the scandal :/ And I really adored the housewarming party scene, it was so sweet how they drunkenly mimicked Meri's finger hearts ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
the second leads' tteokbokki scene really stood out. Love how he trusted her enough to finally speak about himself? Her cute offer to call him once a week and make him laugh! So sweet! And low-key she did push him to finally become a whistleblower and get on a good path.
this the first time I've seen a FL who is the evil one. Usually, it's the ML who is just an awful person.
like, you know he tried to kill himself earlier... He saved your life... And you do this to him? Like, you're fully aware of what his family will go thru... Instead of apologizing, she asks him why he's ashamed??
like, ok, hyunjun is a bit spoiled and self centered and rude... But he's a caring brother & son, and a genuinely good person deep down. Refer back to him saving her life and even being kind when she accused of him being a kidnapper. He doesn't deserve all this.. and the fact that she didn't even apologize?? Yes he shouldn't be ashamed of his mom, but he's the one who went through bullying and ostracism in a very conservative society, I'm not gonna judge him.
"I'm just doing my job" is not a moral get out of jail free card.
I don't want to see him be jealous and try to be around her and fall for her... I need him to get an apology before the romcom hijinks start.
Second leads: "oh you're not actually married? Sick, let's drunkenly make out under some cherry blossoms"
