Aside from the misogyny, sexual harassment, underhanded/borderline illegal tactics, and greedy ambition, Sekuhara has one of the most annoying voices in the history of jdramas.
First half was great, right mix of comedy, action, lots of heart and great writing. You can tell the writer changed towards the end, the heart kinda went out of the drama, the humour was less, and the story started to drag and the same pieces of dialogue began to be repeated. I think, 12 or 14 episodes would have been better. 8.0/10 from me.

I feel like "serious" Japanese dramas have more interesting ideas, characters and dialogues compared to their Korean and Chinese counterparts but the production values are just not there.
Like kdramas and cdramas have amazing cinematography and a rather glossy look but Jdramas in that regard look like Western made-for-tv movies.
But WOWOW dramas usually have high production values and great cinematography and that HD feel so yeah, they are definitely improving.
Watched episode 2 and Mamiya is so annoying, he is easily attached and does not care if he put everyone in danger.…
At the end of the day, the old man is still a human being with a right to life, no matter if he's a liability or not. I strongly dislike how cold Kanae and Todoroki are.
A bit cliched, but very entertaining and the acting is pretty good. I almost teared up at the end of Episode 2 because of the old man's death and his final sacrifice.
I could understand where Mamiya is coming from, but it was probably better to stab the guy sooner than get him…
I understand both sides of the argument but I would have at least waited to see if he completely turned. Even if he did, maybe they could just kept him restrained and then taken him to the base in case there *was* a vaccine.
Either way, two of the more morally decent characters have been killed off. I liked the cop too, he seemed like a nice guy and his voice was so satisfying lol. Todoroki seems a bit unhinged and I feel like Kanae likes Mamiya and both of these people will cause issues in the future.
