Japan just isn't interested in making their dramas available internationally I guess. Our lives would be so much easier if they had a deal with Netflix to show currently airing dramas and past ones like they do with kdramas.

Alice in Borderland was amazing, Million Yen Women was pretty good and Switched was ok. Still quite a dearth of good Japanese dramas.

I told my mom what you said and she literally repeated what you said: "they may have treated him like garbage on the show but at least the actor got an award in real life"

I think this could have worked better if they cut down the number of episodes to maybe 8 or 9. There was a lot of scenes that were unnecessary or repetitive. Nevertheless, I think this is the superior narrative of the effects of suicide and the causes of mental health than 13 Reasons Why. I would recommend watching just for the chemistry between the leads and the showcasing of what happens to the friends and family of those who are left behind by a tragedy like suicide.

You should watch this jdramas called Marry Me! It's really short, sweet and wholesome

The actors are both the same age but So Mun is 18 and I think Han-na is in her early 20s.

So Mun has a crush on Han-na but it's probably one-sided considering the age difference.

I can't blame So Mun for having a crush on his noona, she's so pretty. That scene in the gym where she was warming up...

Even if it's all in the last episode, they go beyond handholding, let me tell you...

It had its flaws but those were really few. Otherwise, this was one of the best Jdramas from this year. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a wholesome, heartwarming drama with a lot of chemistry between the main leads, even if their pairing gets relatively little screen time.

EP09 ending: the moment that Asaba showed up on that roof, Makoto knew that he was going to get rejected. God, Asaba is so damn cool.

Two old men passively aggressively pursuing a naive young girl. Ordinarily, this would be so problematic but Asaba and Kiki's relationship just works somehow.

Guys, really? 7.8? Come on, the 8.3 rating was the most appropriate and we all know it.

I think it improves with every episode. I also felt like 1st ep was a mess but now I find every episode super engrossing.
