He definitely should have stayed away from the start. There could have been better ways to keep a tab on Zhan Yu (who btw is another awful person and I hope Ji Xia'ou realizes this eventually) without getting involved with her romantically. He only got her in this because he was attracted to her.

Well, there are lot of unbelievable things about this story that requires suspension of disbelief but it's still a good story. though this change came out of nowhere, it was important to Nozomi and everyone else's
