This summary is quite inaccurate. Yi, the son of the prime suspect early on, and Pete, the son of the murdered never team up. Pete is essentially useless and Yi does all the investigation on his own. I'd argue that Yi is one of the few good people in this drama and the hero of the story. And now, if you'll allow me, I have to write an essay about Yi.
At what point does the FL fall for the ML? I'm on episode 4 rn and she's so stubbornly pushing him away, sometimes…
The episodes aren't even completely subbed on Viki, they always miss out the most important pieces of dialogues. And don't even talk to me about YoYo and their favouritism towards rom-coms. I get that genre is more profitable but still...

Yeah, I was really put off by how stubbornly rude and borderline mean she was to him when he was trying to court her. Ironically, Xiao'ou intuition was right, at the end of the day, Ya Jin is technically tricking her.... but he wouldn't invest so much energy into her unless he's interested in her. It's a complicated mess and I love it lol. C-dramas aren't usually this complex when it comes to characterization.
So far on the drama, Kiki and Asaba barely have any screentime together. We see them with them with everyone else but each other. Coupled with the fact that Asaba hasn't shown any romantic interest in Kiki, I have a feeling they aren't going to end up together. I hope she doesn't end up with Makoto though, he seems really manipulative.
Well, two things. Maybe the actors' age are supposed to be the same as the characters, in which case the couple's age gap is 12 years and I just feel weird about it. There's a world of difference in the maturity of someone who is in their 20s vs someone who in their 30s. Secondly, the film industry always pairs older actors with younger actresses, almost never the other way around.
None of this might seem problematic to you but it just seemed off to me. You're welcome to disagree.
After 4 episodes, I'm loving it!Acting is great, characters are pretty interesting, and the plot isn't boring.…
I'm really apprehensive too. The long length of some cdramas always scares me off but I'm taking a chance on this one bc it's good so far. we can only hope it stays that way.
If you haven't, you should try these cdramas:
• The Bad Kids
• Kidnapping Game
• Last One Standing
• The Long Night
All of them are mystery or crime or suspense dramas but they are really good and something different from the usual youth or office romances.
