Yeah, OTT shows and more innovative Bollywood movies are popular among some segments of the younger Indian population. But most people, especially boomers, watch the usual garbage. One day, India will have dramas of our own that will be renowned around the world.

Yeah, I know, I love these shows, they're my favourite Indian works. The problem is, the majority of mainstream Bollywood movies and Hindi television is the same saas-bahu and Rohit Shetty style flying cars BS with lame sound effects and overuse of visual effects.

This drama has been consistently high-quality. If they can keep this up, this might be the one of the best J-Dramas of this year. This easily deserves a 8.9 so far, idk what is wrong with MDL ratings when it comes to J-Dramas.

The latter end of 2020 is giving us some amazing dramas. Between this and 35sai no Shoujo, I'd say this is more fun and a pleasant watch while the latter is more deep and emotional. Either way, both are good and worth watching, the best of the currently airing dramas.
