Park Joo Hyun only acted for a few episodes. But her impact lasted till the last episode.
She's just that good of an actor.

Park Joo-hyun will always be the FL from Extracurricular for me. That being said, her character in this is somehow more annoying than the one in that drama.

I hope the FL's character gets better soon, because four episodes in and I still don't like her. Everything else…
she is so annoying... imagine attacking random men on the streets based on zero evidence of wrongdoing...

why are the episodes so damn short? I'm really enjoying this drama, wish it was at least 45 minutes

She looks like Chen Yu's older sister. They both have a very similar appearance.

She's a really good actress. Her character was so annoying and cowardly in "Close your Eyes Before it's Dark" and she portrayed that very well.

I'm only on ep 3 but damn that old lady is so annoying. I can't stand to look at her face anymore. And at the start…
Ms. Fang literally looked like she was about to cry in every scene except the last.

Only lasted one episode. How can a thriller/ mystery be so dull? I wasn't connected to any of the characters and…
The story really gets going in the story in the second episode and becomes amazing and the characters get more sympathetic as well. But I can see why you thought this.

I think that Chengfang should be in prison too--it was bc of her that Yi-cong was electrocuted. And that poor detective shouldn't have died like that :/

This drama is honestly so underrated. It was slower-paced than "A Boy Called Flora A" but smarter and deeper than "Love of Sandstorm." All in the all, the best of the "Q-series" dramas that Taiwan made in 2016 to showcase their drama making abilities.

The acting was quite good but the story here was the best part. This is ome of the best Asian whodunnits I have seen recently. Yes, as some have mentioned, it is very slow paced at parts and they could have cut down on some of the flashbacks but you can see that writers took time to make a well thought out story. You won't be able to guess the killer til the very last moment and you will be on the edge of your seat til the very end. Though I can make some minor nitpicks, the writers took care of every detail. And tbh the story of these friends who lost each other and their way in their life is also very emotionally engaging.

I would recommend this drama to anyone who likes a good murder mystery with lots of suspense. 9.5/10 from me.

This story is actually depressing af. They were such a caring circle of friends; yet one innocent prank from ten years ago and two people's toxic love led to so much pain, death and suffering. Also, rip to Ms. Fang and her son, who were just minding their business until these assh*les came to their lodge.

that's why we need psychologists, kids
The doctor, his wife and Yi-cong both need so much therapy. All of this could have been if Cheng-fang especially had gotten therapy.
