yeah, and most of the Japanese dramas & movies were subbed by fans like me. they literally just upload the hard work of others and profit off it. I hate those kinda sites so much.
idc if they upload Korean or Chinese dramas & movies. most of those are from big companies. but I cannot forgive or forget them stealing fansubs, which fansubbers make for free so that their fellow fans can enjoy Japanese content.

I found out that Kissasian and dramacool rn are both are uploading the subs from GagaOOLala, that's why the quality is so bad 💀💀 so dw, watch the drama from oshiroen, their subs are actually good and you'll be supporting one of the hard working fellow fans who translate most Japanese movies and dramas
ah, I would request you to watch directly thru the fansubber, esp in this case where they have streaming options too. even with the credit, these sites take fansubs without permission. 😅

guys, this drama is being subbed by a fan too (link below). they are GOOD English subs, unlike the ones on sites like dramacool or kissasian. and anyways, those sites just steal the hard work of fansubbers for other Japanese dramas or movies 😭😭 so it's good to support fansubbers and use those sites as little as possible
the acting was a little too much, it could have been more understated for a serious movie, like Japan is capable of such a performance. but overall, it was a very fun movie. I liked all the anti-war themes and the examination of how 1940s Japanese society simply did not care about human life, including that of its own people. 8.5/10
p.s. that child actress was barely interested in this movie and doing her own thing, it was so cute and funny.
For jdramas, it takes time because they're mostly subbed by us fans. We're human beings doing unpaid volunteer…
yeah, see my first point. it takes time and effort to sub anything when you're just an unpaid volunteer doing your best, while dealing with other commitments in life. be happy it's some... people like Ecotvsubs churn out fansubs for like 3 dramas every week while hpriest diligently releases an obscure drama we would never be able to see otherwise...
