Why does he need to beg even harder? He’s already more than made up for any past mistake. He literally risked his life climbing down that cliff to harvest those tea leaves just for her. After that, he’s been her rock nonstop, saving her from assassins and schemes left and right, helping her family survive crises, stepping up every single time she’s in trouble. Also, he’s the one always initiating, reaching for her hand, pulling her into hugs, trying to rebuild that closeness between them. He’s atoned with actions, begging on his knees on the streets feels way over the top and unfair.

Okay, RSB needs to step it up a little bit, show some jealousy, or cook up an actual plan to lock down LJL and make him hers. I’m really praying she doesn’t just sit there passively, letting herself get pushed into marrying some other guy while LJL once again, is the only one out here fighting tooth and nail for their relationship. No, not in my opinion, there are a lot of layers in their relationship that need to be peeled before they get to a real unity. Just watch and decide for yourself, I don't think I can explain my thought process better and I am sticking with "neutral burn" "medium paced" lol.

I agree with the other comment, it's both. They hit their relationship markers (hug, confess, kiss etc..) very fast compared to most Cdramas but they have A LOT to overcome at the same time. Those two are the definition of "it's complicated".
