I wouldn't recommend the novel. The story is different there in unflattering ways.. but yes Mame is the novel writer but she's also in charge of the show herself

Champ and Doc was never said to be het Doc had a crush on Champ for who knows how long, Champ is just said to be clueless... he could be gay/bi/questioning idk... we haven't been given a clear answer outside of his heavy flirtationship with Doc
Techno never dated anyone before the travesty that was his ship with Kengla but you are right on that front. His story and Type's are almost a recycled Gay4You
The whole "Type won't let us make out relationship public" angle seems so imaginary at this point. So they don't display pictures of each other at work or w/e outside of that EVERYONE who matters knows. Type is constantly letting random people know Tharn belongs to him (i.e that girl who hit on him from work) even Type's phone which he leaves OUT has a picture of them together...
Let's talk about this. Is it me or was that scene of Type checking his phone, then coming home to lash out at Tharn so RANDOM, and looked out of place? (Like it was thrown into it last minute and filmed)
It was such a SELFISH moment, and took away from the moment of Type opening about what happened in part 4.
I could have gone without that scene period.
Type doesn't want to stress Tharn out with the details of his work drama... but then he lashes out on Tharn MAJORLY because Tharn is "happy" How selfish and gross. I wish they didn't include that scene in. I can't move passed it.

Tharn's love language is clearly act of service/quality time. He tries to show his love to Type the way he likes it but he hits a roadblock because Type's love language is clearly physical touch. Few these boys need some counseling. In a good way? LOL
