(Am assuming there were more shenaninags going on behind the scenes that we don't know now) Anyway she run away and to the world it looked like she run away because mingxuan had rejected the marriage when in reality he never even brought it up and it was his mother.
So that' the back story, now. she came back but she has a brain tumor and could die if she doesn't get the surgery that she needs. So everyone is walking on eggshells around her to keep her happy and alive and they all figure that her finding out that Mingxuan has a girlfriend will sap her will to live- you know that whole running away because she was rejected thing.
Xueling, bitch that she is, convinced Mingxuan not the tell MoFei about the whole situation since it involves having to explain the whole back story and he hasnt done that yet so didn't, fool that he is.
I don't think Mo Fei will break up with him over it thou, I think it will be resolved in an amicable manner especially since by some coincidence that only happens in drama land Mo Fei and have already met and struck up a friendship

I really don't mind the drawings if the money saved is put to good use on something else. I would rather have those drawings that crappy CGI, and we all know how expensive good CGI can be. Production quality for this drama is high, they didn't skim on the important stuff, like the sets, costumes and music and even the actors.
I really HATE the skin smoothing on FL, it make her face look off. I'll just get that off my chest and not complain about it again but it was a disappointing production choice to say the least. Especially since its only for her and SFL, its so noticeable especially in scenes were there are other characters and they cut back and forth. Plus it must have been super expensive. Why, why, why!

I think there is a certain type of jealous in his hate of the FL because the princess he is in love with loves her. Really, they are all bad guys, just in varying degrees. Simple way to tell them apart, one chooses to handle a problem with the appropriate tool (Mr Du) while the other chooses a sledge hammer (Mr Fang). Anyway, Mr Fang's solutions always seem to create more problems. Also Mr Fang is more smiley, so far the only line he doesn't want to cross is killing that loyal minister.
