I enjoyed the first couple of episodes but rapidly got bored of the regressing FL and the work place story line. The real problem I suppose is I didn't ship any of them. Dropped half way.
Whilst amusing this is very much a rinse and repeat show. Drop in for a couple of episodes and come back in a month for a couple more you won't have forgotten anything important and the laughs will be fresher.
Tried this a couple of times now and keep finding myself completely uninterested in what's happening or who it's happening to. Tragic, makjang revenge dramas are not my thing really, to not like any of the main characters a couple of episodes in ain't a good sign either.
Well I could just about cope with the incessant silly noises but the script just wore me down. It's just so one dimensional and saccharine sweet and full of mawkish sentimentality. Don't get me wrong there are some nice moments and some great actors but the cringe factor just keeps winning out. The school/choir singing contest thing was the last straw for me. Dropped
Wow! This shizzle is just, like...out there man! I'm half way through and my advice is just imagine you're on a rollercoaster, stick your arms in the air and shout 'Whoopie!' God do I hate the one's I'm supposed to hate and love the one's I'm supposed to love. I even started tearing up at one point... whilst laughing at myself for being so gullible.
Second time I've tried to watch this and I still haven't got past the second episode. I think as others have stated if the humour doesn't get you almost immediately don't bother.
"Hong Gyung-doo is uneducated and poor" and unintelligent, boorish, violent, impulsive, aggressive... though he is a loving father. Not forgetting he is very, very shouty! like the uncle. I'm on ep. 10 and really enjoying it apart from the shouty stupids which I tend to skip through.
Very quickly realised this really wasn't for me, I spent just about all the episodes I watched shaking my head and going 'What?'. Maybe I'll try again when desperate but for now...dropped.
Made it to episode six but that's enough for me. Just too shallow and saccharine sweet for my tastes. Go A Ra doing a Shirley Temple version of Shopping King Louie is pretty funny in places but not enough to save it. Soft focus pastel palette, pretty boys with sunshine halos, fun with the Ajummas, plenty of piano and a stupid looking dog in doll clothes. It's probably described as heartfelt somewhere. If that appeals watch and enjoy. Dropped
I'm having a great deal of difficulty remembering what happened in each episode. In fact I've just realised I'm watching an episode for the second time. I'm only on episode three...
Remember girls to be popular you need MAGIC MAKEUP!!
