I'm a bit confused by your review, if one of the protagonists is a psychopath surely that means they lack emotion, empathy and a conscience? So how then can they be "hurt like us(emotionally)"? and feel love and guilt. I mean they can be good at acting and manipulation but the whole point is they don't actually feel it. Am I misunderstanding your point? (I've not watched it because 'serial killer' is not my bag)
yeah and the extraordinary you crossover oofplus the major SLS too lmao
I might need some help translating this one into old fogey speak. oof = out of office? ouch? my youngest daughter says Roblox? SLS = ? lmao = laughing my ass off?
Arrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhh! Episode 6 where he puts the hot pan lid down on that enormous polished wood dining table! I mean, what sort of madness is this?? I mean just like WT actual F!! I know it's just a drama but you have to have some limits.

I just struggled through ep. 5 and put it on hold for a while. I quite like her room mate and Dan Ah's secretary but I'm pretty meh about the rest of them. The dialogue isn't grabbing me either it just seems a bit trite. I'm glad you are still enjoying it, I might pick it up again in a couple of days to see if it was just me.
To play Devil's advocate I'm half way through ep. 3 and wondering about continuing. A fair number of tropes and clichés have already made their appearance and most of the characters are a bit 2D and/or unrelatable? unlikeable? Still early days yet, I keep hoping the expressionless Leads will add a reagent and get their chemistry going.
I'm still watching but skipping through some scenes.
why are people rating this when it isn't even over ..
People rate dramas before they start which is even more ... frustrating? missing the point of a review? Perhaps to give the benefit of doubt they mean to come back and edit their review after each episode?
The plot was basic, Roo Mi and Dan Hee were wooden and bland respectively so after five episodes my interest had vanished. Make up product placement was annoying. Dropped.

Unfortunately people get very partisan about their favourite actors and shows and therefore are quite aggressive in their support. I'm a fan of stories and prefer them to support people being 'excellent to one another' rather than 'beautiful people can get away with anything'. I dropped True Beauty as well, too shallow and cliched for me though I like the leads as actors.

Wow! That's a lot of text. I think I get what you are saying but whilst I know it's a drama and not real, it doesn't stop me feeling uncomfortable watching it. Unfortunately I don't want to watch a creepy dude hitting on a nice young woman, no matter how much I liked him at first. I want to watch something romantic. I can cope with a Jerk if there is character growth but it's much harder to cope with a creep.
I must respectfully disagree with you on the not worrying about it because it's a drama, such behaviour should be worried about wherever it appears, it's how we change things - calling them out not excusing them and providing good examples of behaviour instead. On the other hand what you watch and enjoy is totally up to you and I'm glad you watch it and discuss it on here.
I can't stop thinking he's a creep who makes her uncomfortable all the time, physically abusing her private space,…
I was just watching eps 5 and 6 and thinking the same thing. The getting in her space is really obvious when he's that much taller and she does that rabbit in the headlights look. It's not Romantic anywhere but in Drama Land chaps. Especially if you contrast it with her tipsy self running up and hugging him - that felt warm and cute . An unpremeditated act of affection that he reacted to in a positive way. Rather than his constantly looming over her whilst she looks uncomfortable. I just don't see the need for it he could do nice things for her without being so smarmy and intimidating. They have great chemistry when they are being cute.
Haha much appreciated for that comment dude! It’s the truth tho, he was such a prick like I don’t know how…
Yeah I couldn't cope with it for long either. It's on my list of - 'Jerk Leads that are so utterly a Jerk that you would rather put your own eyeballs out then watch them get the girl as a reward for their total Jerkness (notwithstanding whatever relationship they have with their father or their childhood traumas etc.)'
(I've not watched it because 'serial killer' is not my bag)
oof = out of office? ouch? my youngest daughter says Roblox?
SLS = ?
lmao = laughing my ass off?
That just ruined my immersion.
And the table...

This show really is a blast from a past that should stay safely in the past.

It's a long list....
