Not for me - just same old dim poor cinderella, cold controlling prince trope. Whilst I get the protector/protectee romantic fantasy can't we update it a bit? Say with more respect and more equal characters at least with strength of personality if not circumstances.
Better than it at first seems to be, I went back and watched a few bits again after it finished and got a much better handle on it. Not as good as it could have been though there are some inconsistencies with the characters, especially Riko's that takes the edge away but still good.
Well it didn't do it for me, totally unconvincing FL! Just who would think she was a man? That spoilt it for me, that and the yards thick layers of pathos - sometimes less is more.
I got bored of this in the same way as I got bored of the anime (and Kill Bill) just all too much over the top cool and gore. Shame as I liked the initial premise, the relationship with Rin had promise (unfulfilled) and the cast were ok. It just ended up a bit pointless with little sense of jeopardy- he's immortal so he wins. The main problem I think is it lacked the human touch becoming just a bunch of cliches and caricatures killing each other by the dozen. Beautifully filmed of course.
I was strangely unmoved by this and indeed found the ML irritating. I gave up a third of the way through and FF'd to the end. I actually found it all a bit creepy to be honest.
This dragged me in and allowed me to gloss over most of the problems it has. In the end though the killer was the lack of chemistry between the leads. Dropped.
Boring. None of the cast attract my attention. Tired of the chasing, war fight killing movie. Have seen too many…
Same as. They took time to set up the characters but I didn't really care about them or even like them. They should really have spent more time on making his archery seem amazing as well. Got bored, dropped it.
Well I don't know what made me think you hadn't bothered to look at whether I enjoyed programs tagged school, youth, high school or student. I apologise for jumping to conclusions, you sure showed me youngster.
Ah so you haven't even looked at what I've watched and enjoyed before commenting. Isn't all this COVID 19 stuff tedious, staying at home finding stuff to do and all that, hope it's going ok for you.

Good actors and filmed well but...
