Pretty much by the numbers sports redemption flick, the Naginata fighting is interesting though.

This dragged me in and allowed me to gloss over most of the problems it has. In the end though the killer was the lack of chemistry between the leads. Dropped.

To saccharin/cliche for me apparently, I ff'd through it in about 5 minutes and didn't feel I missed anything.

Same as. They took time to set up the characters but I didn't really care about them or even like them. They should really have spent more time on making his archery seem amazing as well. Got bored, dropped it.

Just same old stuff, nothing you haven't seen before and in the end I couldn't even be bothered to finish it. You know what's going to happen and pretty much to whom in what order with little thought. Fight scenes were well choreographed but were stupid which took away from the only plus the movie had.

Yuko's outfits are keeping me watching as much as anything else, a precursor of Hotel del Luna?
