Haha, I've actually added this to my re-watch list recently in order to give it another chance. I don't know,…
Same here I've had three goes at it now but I just end up thinking he's too pathetic so why does she tolerate him? Because he's rich is the only answer that makes sense but it doesn't make a romance.
You got further than I did and wrote a much better review - which I wholeheartedly agree with! I'm so glad I didn't last until the Princess Lessons, I would have loathed them.
Didn't get through two episodes before I had cliche overload and gave up. I admit the initial role reversal had me interested but she needed saving far too quickly.
Unfortunately most of the dramas portray FL like this one. You should try out ‘ A little thing called first…
Tried it and enjoyed a large chunk of it but I got a bit lost with it. I prefered her when she was 'Ugly' to when she'd been normalised. It made the romance sweeter. I find it hard to drop back into things when I've had a break but I might try to finish it as you say she definitely has character growth.
I dropped it pretty much when they got together just couldn't be bothered any more. Real shame as the beginning was so good. From fighting off thugs in the garage to pathetic girly girl , just why?
Started but dropped this the dynamic between the leads just didn't do it for me. Too much bullying, when he picked her up and carried her off and she let him that was the end for me, like game over why watch the rest?
I'm on ep. 15 and loving this, laughing out loud and occasionally shouting obscenities at the screen. I have been doing a fair amount of skipping though especially in the first episode. There's a fair amount of guff that you only really need to catch the main point of before skipping to the brilliant bits.
The formula is pretty much set in the first episode and is ok but the humour and human touches weren't enough to keep my interest on the simple premise.
Occasional moments of interest in a sea of 'I'm not bothered' and irritation. Can't quite work out why it doesn't work for me, all the ingredients are there, the actors are decent but I'm not enjoying it. I'm on episode 5 so I've given it a chance... dropped.
Just trying too hard I guess.
