Exactly what I was thinking. It's too soon. He didn't even hinder orchid from reviving his love tree.
He needs some time to breathe & figure things out before being pushed by orchid & everyone into aa dead end.

I don't think have double standards here.
I don't think Dongfang's sufferings & his tribe's sufferings should be brushed under the carpet just like that. That's seems a bit unfair.
But yes, maybe Dongfang could've gone for a non violent approach first to get justice for his tribe's sufferings as well as his resultant indirect sufferings in the hands of the people in the heavenly realm.

If Dongfang simply brushes all the sad & bad things regarding him & his realm under the carpet, then he won't be the so called anti-hero devil any more like the title hints. That'll be like going way out of character too soon.

Now that you mention it, for Dongfang too he's starting to care about his people and brother more and more. He can't simply give in to orchid's point of view for the sake of romantic love alone.

I never said I want orchid to be someone who blindly follows the villainous plans of the male lead. What I want is to see orchid figure out a solution considering the fact that she can figure out other things on her own by now.
Why not figure out a way to protect all the good people in her tribe + realm+ dfqc?
I hope she does that without betraying him to the point where he might lose his body or life.

Well, my support for now is for Dongfang team.
Also, the title of this drama gives romantic vibes, so it's difficult & disappointing for me to come with other expectations. For the sake of the drama title, I hope both will work out a way to maneuver the hatred and revenge cycle.

Also, in one of the earlier episodes Dongfang's dad is informed of how a division of heavenly soldiers under the command of chi di nu zi invades some part of moon tribe's territory.

Maybe Orchid should remember this detail of moon tribe's history or if she doesn't know, she can find out (considering the fact that she was capable of finding out details regarding various other things) .

Right.
What I find puzzling is if Orchid can see through Dongfang's motives,and figure everything about him(his past, his present mission etc.), she shouldn't be stupid enough to not figure out the true nature of other immortals too like yunzhong.
It's a surprise that she even managed to hand over the destiny book she fixed to Dongfang's and I feel relieved thinking about that part in the earlier episode...

But I'm willing to wait & watch... see whether orchid can share Dongfang's burden and come up with a solution.
Because it'll obviously be difficult for Dongfang to balance everything for long and to keep everyone happy he cares about happy at the same time.

Well, that is understandable, but if orchid could figure out things that Dongfang plans to do in the mortal realm, then it implies she's obviously not as stupid as before.
Why didn't she use her wits to understand the cause behind this impasse & figure a way out instead of just telling him you'll become my enemy & things like that. He never said that to her yet despite bearing more amount of responsibilities than her.
And the heavenly realm is not that pure ( at least based on what I infer from the episodes so far).
Why couldn't orchid just figure out the fact that right from the beginning the moon tribe or dongfang can't be completely blamed?
I'm part of team Dongfang Qingcang for now. So watching episode 19 got me frustrated.

That's precisely why I found it quite frustrating when Orchid thought Dongfang will completely give up his priorities just for her. How can she expect that from him when she herself won't compromise when it comes to anything concerning the safety of the people in her realm. Moreover, in the drama version, (except the second male lead and his friends) the important people calling the shots in the heavenly realm seemed corrupted and not that full of pure goodness.

Watching the tense moments between the main leads in episode 19 was a bit frustrating.
Can't believe orchid can't understand Dongfang's dilemma & priorities despite being with him during his emotional recovery therapy session. Maybe she should start to understand him more.
I hope she starts to see how much Dongfang is doing his best to balance fulfilling her requests with his responsibilities without killing her.


Praying that Dongfang doesn't lose his complete sanity & do something foolish in the name of love, and hoping against hope to see orchid starting to value Dongfang more instead of just obsessing over protecting her identity & realm day & night.

Maybe it's time she thought of some good solutions instead of just thinking of curing Qingcang's emotional tree alone. Hope to see a more accomodative, sensible version of orchid in future episodes ( which I highly doubt, btw).

Maybe the stylist didn't choose the right costume to match a particular hairstyle or the right hairstyle to match a particular costume.
But Dylan Wang looked perfect as moon supreme sporting the disheveled hair look and open V neck robe( which exposes a bit of his torso) in episode 18.
