I loved Zhang Binbin's acting skills in episode 36. His expression while he was crying as he watched his sister vanish in front of him while she lifted the curse on the aquatic clan really touched me. His acting skills & his expressions were superb in that desert clip! It was as if the actor was really in emotional pain although he's just portraying the role of Luo Ge & not really Luo Ge. But Zhang Binbin's sorrowful expression in that moment made me feel as if the actor had become the character... Or maybe got completely immersed in the character just like Johnny Depp for Jack Sparrow.
OMG I LOVE THAT POSTER!!!!But was this a cut scene...? ππ
I like god of moon's midnight blue & white costume. When I watched episode 36 preview, I was under the impression that Luo Ge got deified as god of the moon & Liu Shao also got the power of the sun or immortality or enhanced powers etc. I thought they were showing the future. .. I'm not exactly sure whether they showed flashbacks or the events that'll happen, in episode 36. I can decide about that only after I watch episode 36.
Anyway, I have always loved the costume of the main leads and some other main leads right from the time the show started to focus on immortal & demon realm...
The most recent poster of Luo Ge kissing Liu Shao added to the poster collection here, leaves me mesmerized! I'm spellbound! Wish that kiss scene from that particular angle just like in the poster, was included too in the drama...
SMH. Why doesn't He Na just hand over the demon king position to A Fu and told him to marry Luo Ning and promise…
Yup & to see & be with Luo Ning. If Luo Ning also understood this...things would've been less complicated & messy. Even his brother, He Na can see everything clearly & A Fu too. Luo Ning messed up everything with her idea to marry He Na & this time He Na gave in. He Na could've persuaded A Fu once more to accept the demon king position back then & reveal Luo Ning's plan to A Fu to make A Fu agree & behave. He Na could've threatened A Fu that'll he marry Luo Ning if A Fu doesn't stop his scheming. Luo Ning could've done the same too. She could've given A Fu a warning or even tried persuading him by finding some alternative solution which doesn't emotionally hurt A Fu. . A Fu would've definitely listened as long as it helps lift the curse. What I don't understand is why didn't A Fu think about marrying Luo Ning as demon king to lift the curse when He Na suggested passing on his position to A Fu? That'd have been the easiest solution. I guess, A Fu's pride & brotherly love got in the way of his logical thinking at that moment. He Na always says that his brother talks before he thinks. Maybe A Fu rejected He Na's offer of power transfer without thinking too much & now he regrets it? Maybe if He Na made the offer of power transfer once again to A Fu after Luo Ning's break up with A Fu, he might have accepted it. The plot could've been written that way too...
There was a moment in episode 27/28 when A Fu even apologized to Luo Ning when she reminded him that he was behaving like the previous demon king 10,000 years back. Had Luo Ning been more straightforward about her plans with A Fu, things would've proceeded in a smoother manner. I think the plot could've been written in a better way.
A Fu's resolve to conquer the three realms & confront Luo Ge started to strengthen only after Luo Ning crushed his water pearl despite his pleadings that he'll only use his water pearl just to visit her, hereon. This happens in episode 27 or 28. But because A Fu deceived Luo Ning a number of times before, she has trouble believing him. Can't fully blame her there. Perhaps if Luo Ning believed him at that time , A fu might not have been so bent on conquering the three realms by creating chaos by proceeding to help resurrect the darker version of god of moonlight buried beneath the four seasons monument who promised to lift the curse for A Fu. There is no one else to help A Fu at this point except the dark version of god of moonlight( who keeps reminding Luo ge that they are similar in many ways or will be soon...)
He seriously thinks that for the sake of his clan, he can do anything: kills innocent, creates chaos in 3 realms,…
I don't think A fu has serious problem, but starting from ep 35 he will start facing serious problems because of the drastic measures he took. A Fu explains everything (the reasons behind his actions) in ep 34. A Fu also expresses the kind of relationship he'd have liked to have with Luo Ge to Luo Ning in episode 34. Luo Ning & He Na could've just revealed the full truth to A Fu --- the reason behind their hasty wedding plans in episode 33 & 34 instead of keeping him in the dark. Perhaps, then, he wouldn't have turned into a totally insane, unreasonable man like he was in episode 34. Luo Ge has serious prejudice against him. Even if A Fu wants to change now, Luo Ge isn't going to accept him easily. Also, it was Luo Ge who cursed the demon king & the entire aquatic clan when he was god of the moon long back. They share real bad blood. And Luo Ge isn't completely flexible & tolerant of everything regarding A Fu or the demons. Luo Ge is nicest only towards He Na because of not only the friendship he shared with him as a mortal, but also because He Na is the only patient, cautious, diplomatic, kind, straightforward demon out there( in this story anyway). And lastly, even if Luo Ge accepts A Fu, the immortal realm people will make things difficult for A Fu. So A Fu always had no choice but to try underhand methods to be one step ahead, and stay crafty, tough, decisive, aggressive unlike his straightforward, assertive, diplomatic brother, He Na.
The only problem with A Fu is he could have just waited with patience & listened to his brother's advice now & then instead of taking action on his own by teaming up with Bai Feng.
Next comes immortal Luo Ge , then god of the moon, then darker version of god of the moon.

But judging from their costumes, I think this is a cut scene from episode 27.
But if it'll be shown again, that'll be a treat!
