It got better as you watched it, but still feels like it was missing the full noir experience. I believe this is due to a lack of emotion from the MC. This is probably the script’s fault though - MC needs to have more visceral responses and dialogue to make the noir feel realistic.

It was trending so well in the first couple of episodes. Then it used some OLD kdrama tropes and reverted back to about average. Not bad, but there was a lot of potential.

I really love how the drama intermingled comedy, drama, and tragedy. Usually, it's very hard to do it, but they excelled at it. This made it feel very realistic. Real life doesn't have a comedy filter or a tragedy filter, it's rather an amalgamation of everything.
Acting was also spectacular. Props to ML and FL and OJS.
Quick shout out to the music as well. S Teir music, including instrumentals. Great job.

Haha, it seems we are at the asymptote, my friend. It's gonna stay hard to find good dramas for us. But there will still be 3-4 excellent ones every year, I think.
