Just watched the trailer oh going be good. Liked the other movie they made. I hope bring more. I would like to…
I really like your idea! A movie where all reunite to defeat a bigger evil is really good! Hmm..I vaguely remember a fanfic on ao3 that had this plot!

I cannot believe that I found another fan of NHS here! Especially since well..Wangxian! I have saw the video before! I really like the analyses that the user does!Yes, indeed! Wangxian wouldn't even be together if NHS wouldn't have plotted revenge! The thing is that the author of the novel was very concentrated on the main pairing and to be honest,,left so many good characters under developed. The Nie clan is very interesting so I am very exited for the movie! Ultimately, i really wonder who had the saddest ending..Mo XuanYu who sacrificed himself, of NHS who lost all his family( mum, dad, brother, and Er-ge, San-ge and friends as well).

Mine also! Don't know why, but his character in The Untamed just attracted me! While many watched the drama for Wangxian, the plot and the scheming got me all through the end ! He truly needs more roles in dramas!

Just like Mizu has replied already, In my opinion, the translation is good, It was fast done finished very quickly! All my appreciation to all fan translators out there that helped me read this novel! The thing is, Chinese language is hard sometimes to interpret in English, especially cultivation, immortal, fantasy novels, so, of course, the translators from the link that i sent you, did it in a fast way. Now that they don't have time pressuring them(aka fans bombarding twitter about what happens in the next chapter), the translators from Deep Dream, have the time to flourish the words more. Though..you will have to wait alot for them to finish the novel:o

NIF is good! Crazy good especially the actors which you can see they are experienced. The bromance will make you bawl tears if you can pass the first few episodes which are slow to develop due to plot

How can i move on from this drama? ?
If you like reading and liked The Untamed, maybe give a try to Heaven's Official Blessing(Tian Guan Ci Fu) written by the same author who has written the novel which The Untamed is adapted from. It will be adapted also as live-action and the animation will be released this year. Fan translated novel here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DOHF_LchBL5h_d8EJJSmPzGsz1bPYYDcyoVKzciKalg/edit Maybe also try dramas like: The King's avatar (top notch all time ever animation incorporated in a drama, anime is also great!), The Lost Tomb series( season 2 is awesome, as is Sea Sand) and Nirvana in Fire (revenge orientated plot, tragedy with very good actors) for brotherhood feeling.

The new poster looks so good! Glad that it will be release on iqiyi, at least like this we might have an engsub as well!
On The King’s Avatar Feb 9, 2020
I'll be honest here:this is the best drama that has so good effects! You can clearly see the big budget that was needed for the animation for the in-game play. E-sports is so popular that I am surprised that China is the only one doing drama adaptations!(S-Korea..I'm eyeing you..gaming is so popular there and noooo, only bad cliches dramas lately). It's true that the live-action is slightly different from the novel(which I have read whole), but it's still good! Cannot wait for the 2nd season! Also, I see people wanting romance..like really guys...there are hundreds of dramas that have romance! Not everyone wants to see romance orientated plot! It really is a breath of fresh air to watch a drama that actually has friendship accentuated this much!

It's been awhile since I watched a jdrama, but this one is really good. You get action, drama, tragedy and revenge in one drama only. I like how the romance subtext is just that, subtext, and that it concentrates on the drama and ugly face that yakuza can bring for the characters. Ueda Tatsuya did a wonderful job as Nanase and I hope he'll act in more dramas like this one. The tragedy of Kondo-san was really tear worthy and i really hoped until the end for a good ending and was really an element that makes this drama even more worthy of watching.
On Royal Nirvana Jan 25, 2020
Don't really understand why at the majority of this type of dramas, there is someone that adds at the recommendation section Nirvana in fire....I understand similar genres and all, but I feel like RN is way too much romance and crying scenes that could have been reduced and concentrate more on the plot. Acting is very good, cinematography also...but plot wise is very dragging. Didn't read the novel but this could have been so much better.

He was really good in the untamed, good acting. But can you guys tell me why his nickname i ‚director nie‘??
It's because of his character in The Untamed. Nie Huaisang was the mastermind of everything that happened after WWX returned. He directed everything, from Yiling Laozu's return to the demise of Jin GuanYao/Meng Yao

Guys I’m at episode 10 and I’m confused about something. Why did the Jiang clan adopt WWX? Does WWX and Jiang…
WWX aren't blood brothers so they don't share the same father. The parents of WWX were acquiescence with the father of JC, Jiang Fengmian. I don't remember if in the TV serial it's mentioned, but in the novel Jiang Fengmian might have had feelings for WWX's mother and this is also one of the reasons of why Madam Yu (Jiang Cheng's mother) resents WWX. WWX's father was a servant of Yunmeng Jiang and he and Jiang Fengmian knew each other as well, before he left the sect and eloped/married with Wuxian's mother. Later on, they both died in a night hunt and child Wuxian was left to fend for himself. Jiang Fengmian searched for him, found him and adopted him into the sect and family

Thank for your reply and for this thread! It's a nice perspective to read what other people think about this drama. Just a few things that I feel the need to point up:) As you probably know already, yes, it is very hard to actually get into the drama! The novel was easier because it has many flashbacks while here, just one big one. The popularity comes from the novel; or at least it came at first. Low budget? Hell yeah! Most of us agree with that 100%. Bad acting? That's debatable: some of them do a good job but majority are new, new actors at their 1st ever filming; so that's for sure something. Cannot compare it with My Mister because of MAAANYY reasons: different genre, different ep nr which gives a different budget, experienced actors, made by koreans FOR koreans taste. Chinese dramas are made primarily for Chinese population, and cheesy is something that majority like, otherwise there wouldn't be so many dramas like that out there. Also, majority of dramas are actually ADAPTATIONS! From novels..and some of them are written by 16 years old..hehe..strange as it seems, but that's how it is. You actually get the cheesiness that teenagers have about love and all. Regarding the audience:D Well, I don't fall into that category: am over 25 years old(wish to have a time turner to go back in kindergarten, though:)) adult life is hard), and not a BL avid fan. Off, and if you check older comments, you will see that many came here for the BL but stayed for the tragedy and plot. Also..if you like BL dramas that much, stay away from Chinese dramas since China has a BL ban on television. What you see in dramas after 2015, I believe, it's context and that's all, As long as that ban is effective, you will only see very subtle BL, brotherhood and all that.

Is this a good series with a good story or is this just something people drool over because of the good looking…
If you are new to Chinese dramas, The Untamed is for sure not to watch as it contains many metaphors which translated into English sounds childish, and the whole cultivation/fantasy stuff is kinda hardcore for a beginner. Regarding the Voice dubbing, it is what it is..In China there are so many accents that they need to do voice overs for this specific reason: so that every watcher can easily understand the characters. The plot of this whole drama is good. Really good. But it takes over 16 episodes to actually enter into the action. In my opinion, the best episodes are after episode 33 where they are back into the current timeline: present. There you actually see how so little details have so much impact that you didn't even notice the first time:) Also, I see that some people recommended Eternal Love: In my opinion is quite cheesy/ even cheesier that The Untamed:)) Checking your watchlist, which is more BL stuff, you will for sure not like it! Budget wise is one of the best dramas, but I'm not sure it will be on your taste:)) Maybe try dramas like: The Lost tomb 2 ( LT1 is quite a sad adaptation but it's short and you can give it a try), Sea Sand, Tientsin Mystic, Nirvana in Fire. They have good production, some brotherhood elements that go borderline BL in some scenes, not cheesy, mysterious and quite good.
